Peter Glenn in Tampa has a really nice selection of equipment. So do many other online retailers, where you can shop from the comfort of your home. The difference is supposed to be that you get technical help at the store, with competent workers assisting with: what fits best, differences between brands, what works best for each temperature climate, etc.... What you actually get at the store, is nothing. You can try stuff on, but nobody will ever come help you. If somebody approaches you, they dont actually know a single thing about what youre trying on, or choose not to care. Youre much better off reading the reviews online and buying there. In my experience, it was also much cheaper buying online. Your mileage may vary, but from my experience they offer a decent selection at slightly marked up prices, with absolutely terrible customer service. Honestly I felt embarrassed for the owner, who was nowhere to be seen. 2/10, would not recommend going unless youre trying on sizes and buying online.

Brad was great helping me pick out my boots very knowledgeable. Raven helped me set up my bindings and attach them to my snowboard.This was my first time, she was very patiently explaining the process and answering all my questions as we went thru. They were both great.
