One of the best tackle shops in the Tampa Bay area! No question that any real fisherman will feel the same. These guys have anything, and everything you can think of as far as fishing is concerned. This place is geared more toward saltwater fishing,but no question about it an excellent shopping experience. The staff will walk you through and guide you in the right direction for what you will need for tackle without using pressure tactics. They will literally spend any amount of time talking to you about fishing, what to use, and where to go, even if you dont buy anything. Trust me, its definitely worth checking out, you will feel like your surrounded by pros and if your a pro, you will feel right at home.

Who needs Bass Pro shop! Tampa Fishing Outfitters has it all the selections are incredible!!!!! What ever Rod or Reel you want or need they have it. The staff that work there are wonderful and ready to help you find what you need . If you have never been there your really missing out and you need to go! It is the Largest Toy Store in Tampa for Fishing Gear! They have the Best Rods and Reels at competitive pricing. Its a great place to go and just talk about fishing. The knowledg and experience is great.

I stopped In today to buy a couple Bonita and potentially more....however after "meeting" Joy and feeling her lack of warmth and customer service I am sure that I will not be back. I am sad to say because I have had history with the store that kept me a customer even after other dealings.... this is the end for me and this store. What a disappointment. The store has almost no one with any real knowledge besides Mike. And has now become the store I wont recommend.

There is a certain value that you have to add to what you get at this store besides what you buy here. They are probably the most knowledgeable staff of fishing professionals you will meet around in this state. From what color of lure and how fast or slow to reel it; to how long or how short of a rod to use...what they bring to the table in addition to what they sell makes them more than 5 stars 7 days a week and twice on Sunday!

Im very impressed with this place, a little cramped, but that is only because they have anything and everything you could be looking for. I would choose Tampa Fishing Outfitters over Cabelas or Bass Pro any day. The staff are also very knowledgeable, something that comes in handy for someone like me who recently moved from Colorado. Couldnt be happier.

Staff is knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. I dont know too much about fishing and they were very nice about it and told me what I needed to know. I went in with a specific budget and needs, I walked out with some great rods and still under budget! I had to drive far to get here, but Ill definitely be back soon!

Brought in three of my rods to have them re-stung and the prices were very good there, and they were quick, went shopping bought hooks and a few other things the place is like a candy store for fisherman, if you need it Im sure theyve got it, looking for an excuse to buy something else so I can go back ....

Very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly staff of anglers. I spent quite a bit of time in the store before deciding on which rod and reel i was going to purchase and never felt pressured to buy a setup that i wasnt going to be happy with. I highly recommend checking this store out if you have never been.

This place is bar none the best tackle store that I have been to - outside of Bass Pro Shop. All of the staff are top notch and very educated. Be prepared, the inventory is overwhelming at times, it creates the "kid in a candy store" syndrome and I ALWAYS spend more money than I originally intended.

Got 2 penn reels spooled.. staff was very very honest and helpful I would always come here from now on.. theres no reason for me to waste my time and go else where.. I never knew this place was here until I Google it and I swear its the best shop I been in so far...keep it up guys
