Horrible Service!!! My wife called the night before to schedule a haircut for our lab. The person on the phone said that a bath was included in the price for a haircut. I dropped him off in the morning, and got the call 3 hours later to come pick him up. When he came around the corner I noticed he had not been given a haircut, and I had paid $57 for just a bath. Despite what my wife had discussed the evening before, what was typed into the computer was a bath. The groomer then offered to do the haircut for an additional $60 and I would have to leave my dog there for another 5 hours. I declined the offer. If you ever get your pet groomed here (which I do not recommend) be sure the groomer is very clear and confirm what services are to be performed when you drop off your dog. They create a "Grooming Receipt" on 8.5x11 paper when you drop off your pet, however in my case they did not offer it to me. Ask for this receipt and review it before you leave. These guys are not trustworthy, and in my opinion are purposely unclear. I feel like I was taken advantage of and I will never use the grooming services or shop at PetCo ever again.

OK, so they had good items and decent prices. However- I brought my puppy in yesterday, and after each one of the employees gave her a treat, they told me she "definitely needed obedience classes" and would try to get me to sign up with the trainer that was also walking the floor, who also told me she needed obedience classes. Even after I declined, one of the employees kept trying to call the trainer over to convince me. I thought this was very rude, to the point of embarrassing me. The employees were friendly, but it seems like their policy is to be extremely pushy about making sales on these training classes. I have thought about taking my dog to obedience classes, and if I do, it will NOT be there.

Grooming Salon was great. Not sure what this other guy is talking about his lab because I brought my lab into get shave and it was 58, I think, instead of 31 for just a bath. They were great , so kind and my baby was nice and cleaned up when I picked her up. It did take 4 hours but they were busy, I understand, and Ive gone to another shop and the kept my baby for 7 hours. So I was good with that.

Im a huge Petco fan, but its frustrating to know that their website prices are significant lower than the store price. They will price match (only) their website prices, but its a pain to compare the prices on every item. Today, the my aquarium filters were normally 21.99, but they were sold for $7.39 on their website. I was able to get the lower price but that is ridiculous.

Went to get my dogs nails trimmed and hadnt been here before. Called and they said they took walk ins. They failed to mention that we needed proof of rabies vaccination. We waited an hour and nobody told us until we they were finally ready for us. Since we were the last ones there they could only see us tomorrow morning. Thanks for wasting our time.

Clean store. Prices are reasonable. I mostly come to buy aquarium fish. Had a great sale on fish the other day. They will always test your water and offer a no-hassle 30 day return on fish that dont make it. They seem to usually have only one cashier where two might be nice, but that is a minor issue not to dissuade someone from visiting the store.

Gave cashier coupon, CHARGED me $3 dollars extra for using the coupon. Tried to resolve it with store manager, but he never left anything for his assistants, he was never there. Started to use Amazon instead and saved $9 every bag of cat food and its delivered in 2 days! (Going on since April till I gave up)

They have a skeleton crew. There is never enough staff to help customers. They usually only have one cashier working with multiple people in line. The poor cashier was so overwhelmed last time I went there she was having to answer the phone and ring people up all at the same time.

We shop here often as its close to our house! They are always friendly and helpful. Great staff, good with kids and pets!! They are a little high on grooming thou compared to petsmart. Love being on the petco card and get savings!! YOU CAN SAVE A TON shopping here!!!

I dread having to get crickets here while waiting for an online order. They take on average 10 or more minutes to get about 50 crickets. The boxed ones are always dead but sometimes I buy them anyway just avoid how long it takes then to bag crickets.

Absolutely terrible. The last 3 tiers I went in this store. No one to help assist with fish purchases.. this last time the manager told me he would be right with me. 15 min later. He is sitting in his office with his legs up .... ridiculous

I cant say enough about the ladies in the grooming salon. I took two big dogs (pit bull and ridgeback) who were very skiddish to get their nails trimmed. They handled them very well and had no problems.
