They showed me portfolios here that had good work in them and they werent trying to gouge me on price, so I decided to get some work done. Big mistake. Id love to know where the real artists are that did the nice work in those portfolios...I cant believe the guy who did my tattoo actually did the work he showed me. All I was getting was a Celtic knot with a quote. I shouldve known it was gonna be a disaster when I went through at least 6 quotes, all of which the artist (Mark) wouldnt do. I trusted my artist though (HUGE mistake). Well, the tattoo looks terrible. First, it looks like 2 different tattoos...its just a knot with a quote underneath it. Theres nothing connecting them, no background to bring them together, nothing. Its like he didnt finish it or something. Second, the script work looks absolutely terrible. Its totally blurry and impossible to read. I want to cry everytime someone squints at it and asks what it says. And whats worse, I went back in to talk to them to see if theyd do something to fix it. Mark made me come to his station and talk to him WHILE HE TATTOOED SOMEONE. So unprofessional and scary for the client to listen to someone complaining about his artists work while hes getting tattooed. Mark wouldnt even admit that it looked like crap, and tried to say that he was just too light with the lettering, and hed go back over the letters and make them darker. Just what I needed...making crap into darker crap. No way...I didnt go back. Ill find an artist who knows what theyre doing and cover it up. This was my 10th tattoo and its the only one that looks bad. I know what good tattoos look like, and this isnt it. I shouldve trusted my instincts and walked away. Now Im out over $300 and still have to cover it up. So angry and disappointed. STAY AWAY!

I came in last night to have my nipples pierced. Jacques was my piercer and he was excellent. Not a bad word to say about him. Friendly and dilligent about placement, etc. However, my terrible experience began when Trey entered the room, who apparently is Jacques boss. He barged in yelling after the door was already closed and I was topless. Then proceeded to just be rude and callous and stared at my breasts without actually assisting Jacque in any way. He was irritated it was closing time and we werent finished with my piercings yet. He continued to rush Jacque and make rude comments. Then Trey opened the door to the piercing room while I was still topless. I asked him three times to please shut the door because I was nude. He walked into the room and slammed the door as loudly as he could and screamed at me "DO YOU FEEL SAFE NOW??!!" Literally as Im getting pierced. Trey was UNBELIEVABLY rude and unprofessional. Especially in a situation where a woman was topless in a room with men she didnt know. He should be immediately fired for those actions, as they were incredibly inappropriate. Id like to also add, that even though it was late at night in ybor, I had not been drinking and was quite sober. So my account of these events is totally accurate. Someone please fire this animal before he is abusive to more women.

I havent gotten anything done here personally but hearing about my friends experience and seeing the screenshots of an artist bashing her on her personal page on facebook and then trying to get people to give them 5 star reviews to outrank the bad reviews they were getting. I dont think this business is very professional. Not to mention, after getting all of the bad reviews, they took the review section on their public facebook page down and blocked everyone that left a bad review. My friends artist did a horrible job. All she wanted to do is schedule a appointment for 2 weeks down the road (that way her tattoo was healed) so she could make arrangements with her work schedule. Mark agreed to fix it but never would reply about the appointments. She was trying to remain consistent with contacting him about his availability so she could schedule a day off. He simply replied with "lol" and told her he wont fix it. Very displeased and very unprofessional. I hope they hire new professional artists that can take criticism and fix their actions.

I went last Friday with my husband to have a matching tattoo. First of all the boy has a heavy hand that caused me to swell my wrist and I still have a lot of pain. I have the ugliest tattoo in the world. It looks like a tattoo of prisoner, now I have to wait for it to heal to go to another place and fix it. My husbands is worse than mine. If they see the photo they will notice what I say. The worst tattoo artist. But the other artists are very nice since this is not the first time I go but I have never seen that boy who made my tattoo. I was thinking that my tattoo would look good because I liked the place because I came before with my friends..... Sorry if you dont like my review but Im not happy with his work. I think his name is Graviel something like that. he has tattoo in all his body and face

AWFUL! They ruined a pretty simple tattoo and are incapable of drawing a circle. After agreeing to fix their mistake, the tattoo artist instead blew off any attempt that was made to confirm an appointment and they have replied to any criticism unprofessionally. After leaving a negative review on Facebook, one of the tattoo artist decided it was appropriate to take to her personal profile and make a status about how her friends should leave positive reviews to try to cover up the well deserved negative one. Im literally disgusted by the way this tattoo shop handles disagreeable situations! I will NEVER give them a single cent of my money and if I were you, Id avoid them all together as well. Trying to save people from embarrassment and poor quality tattooist who dont care about their customers.

Really enjoyed my experience from the get go. I met Sean at the 7/11 next door and told him I wanted to get a tattoo and he told me about Hunter. I showed Hunter what I wanted and he had everything ready to go in 30 minutes. The experience was great. He held conversation throughout the whole thing (nearly 4 hour session) except at the difficult parts where he responded with the occasionally "uh-huh" and "yep". The tattoo turned out beautifully and even now I keep him updated with the healing process. This is my first detailed colored tattoo and I freak out over every little thing so its really great that I have Hunter to answer all my questions.

Absolute garbage. Quality of work, management, and the overall shop was terrible. We got matching tattoos last year from the shop, and the artist Lucky who has since been fired, was heavy handed and left us with non matching horrible tattoos. They contracted a bad artist, put us with him advertising his good work, and now want no part in helping us fix the work that they allowed to happen in their shop. The big guy "shop manager" had a very non compassionate response to our complaints. Even if there was nothing you could do, at least explain it so we dont feel even more gypped by your condescending attitude.
