My experience started out not so great. I made a grooming appointment for my dog trying to support a local small business. On the morning of the appointment the groomer called and asked if I could come in a half hour later because she was running behind. I agreed, but when I showed up, the store was closed and there was no answer at the store number. I decided to give her ten more minutes and tried to call back the number that had called me. Also, no answer. I left thinking I would NOT be going back. A few hours later I received a call from the owner and explained what had happened. Apparently the groomer was supposed to have opened the store and had not let anyone know she wasnt coming in. She apologized for the whole situation and offered a $50 gift card. I appreciate her trying to make it right and will definitely be giving it a second go.

Ive always made it a priority to feed my cats good food, but I shopped at a chain store before I realized that Health Mutt sells cat food too. They didnt sell the exact type I usually buy, so they offered to special order it for me, and theyve been doing so ever since. I love the atmosphere and expertise I get when I shop at Health Mutt. When I needed to buy new wet food for my elderly cat, they took the time to go through their many cans of wet food and help me pick the best one for my cats needs. Health Mutt is always clean and well-lit, and the staff is friendly, calm, and professional. Whenever I see a dog come out of grooming, theyre happy and dont appear even a little afraid (not to mention theyre super fluffy from their baths!)

This is a great store for those who want their pups to have the best quality food. They are all knowledgeable and helpful with any dog (or cat) needs one may have. The wash stations are awesome and very comfortable and you dont have to kill your back bending over to wash your pooch. The food variety and quality is amazing. Their special social events are great for human and pooch socialization. But the bottom line truth?? What makes this place the best is the love imparted by the Bailey Family: Dad, Mom, Kendra and their staff...always making one feel loved and helped. 4 paws up!!! to this place.

Recently moving to the area, we needed a new groomer. I was tempted to make the drive to our old groomers each time because they were great....but we decided to try out Health Mutt. We didnt know what we have been missing! This was by far the best Cheyenne has looked after a groom. Misty was great, she took time to discuss what was best and ask questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted for my dog. Our dog left happy and looks great. We will use Health Mutt moving forward for our grooming and dog needs. All the staff is friendly and helpful. Its a great place to go for the pet lover!

This used to be a nice place to patronize. But they absolutely do not know how to treat their customers. I will not spend my money in a place that allows its employees to speak condescendingly to its customers. And the owner backs it up. No thank YOU! I will tell everybody I know about my experiences. They may not care that they lost me as a customer - but how about the 10 people I tell and so on. The owner had the opportunity to respond to me with respect and concern -however they choose to resort to exaggerated stories of my behavior and told me that they did not want my business.

Friendly/knowledgeable staff. A unique selection of items. Found my favorite dog collars here and have not seen them anywhere else. Some unique toys and treats. Their self serve dog wash is unique and fun to use. Their prices are full retail, as you might expect from a small shop like this. They had difficulty handling one of my two dogs for nail clipping, which was a disappointment. Less is more w/ him and the mainly focused on the more. It took them a long time and I did not feel confident about it. Now I take that dog to the vet to get his nails clipped.

The Health Mutt is a great place to shop for all of your pets needs. Everyone has always treated me very friendly when I stop in and so far everyone has been very helpful. The Health Mutt will go the extra mile for its customers and have accommodated me with price matching and special ordering on many products. I was also able to exchange a flea treatment that wasnt enough for my cat and they helped me choose what I am currently using now, which is working great. You wont get the same vibe walking into Petco; This is more family and I prefer it that way.

We loved the Health Mutt the first time we stepped into the lovely, quaint store! Kendra was super welcoming and they are the only place around that carries Bravo, our favorite raw food staple for River. They always make sure it is in stock and help us with any questions we have. They are also up to date with the neighborhood news regarding pet walks, dog parks, etc and help keep us updated. This is the best pet shop ever! We even made sure when buying our house that we were close by!

Id recommend these guys to anyone! Brought in my 5lb, 8 year old poodle for a grooming and requested a certain look for my dog. The groomer did a phenomenal job with her; clean cut, soft fluffy coat and my little dog who is (naturally nervous) was very happy and relaxed when I picked her up. They also have a good wide selection of products with great prices and the staff were very friendly. I came from South Tampa to this store and will definitely be bringing my dog here from now on!

Health Mutt is hands-down my favorite pet boutique. Kendra & team are amazing. Theyve taken the time to get to know us and our four-legged kids, offering up fabulous advice on everything from foods to help with allergies to natural remedies for the skin conditions those allergies can cause. When we go in, we feel like were with friends....like were visiting with a great neighbor! We love everything about Health Mutt. Theyre an amazing addition to our neighborhood!!

Health Mutt has consistently provided a great quality product, fantastic service with a knowledgeable staff. I am always greeted when I walk in, the staff is very friendly and makes me feel valued. Everyone is knowledgeable about the products and services they offer and sometimes have samples that I can try. Thats a huge for me. Id like to see this business continue to represent what business should be in Seminole Heights. Im proud they are in my community.

I always stop by this shop with my pooch after the Seminole Heights Fresh Market since it will is so convenient on Central. Also I gotta have Orijen dog food and treats and this place is never out of stock. They also have bully sticks and duck feet which is also important to me. They also have a decent size quantity if merchandise including same items despite being medium sized. It really has everything for a quick out stop or picking out a gift.
