My husband and I were on our way from church and Mothers Day lunch when we decided to stop in the store. I have been talking about wanting a compound bow for a long time, so my husband decided it was time to try it out! We went in and were greeted by the staff, but in particular, we were helped by Jacob. He asked questions about what I was looking for and "listened" to what I had to say. I explained that I had never used a bow before and knew absolutely nothing. He showed me items, but recommended that I start with a beginner bow and go to the range to see if I liked it. I did and loved it! I then asked if I could try the compound bow with poundage. He set it up and measured me to make sure I had the right draw length. At no point did he try to hard sell me on a product. In fact, he suggested I rent a bow until I knew what I wanted to make sure I would be happy. I really enjoyed it even though my muscles were experiencing some new exercise. I was given pointers and directions as to how to handle the bow. I liked it so much that I decided to buy one! Jacob had to leave shortly after I picked out the bow, but he was such a polite and knowledgeable young man that I will never forget that experience. I was then helped by other staff members who set up the bow and equipment. Although I do not remember the exact names, I know that I was being helped by a husband and wife team. The bow was set up by the husband and the wife took me into the range to adjust sites and help me get familiar with my bow, She was excellent at explaining what to do. I was told that I did not need a class since I did so well, but I signed up for the 10 hour range time. I was impressed with the customer service from the beginning until I walked out. I recommend Adventures Archery if you are a beginner (or experienced). Great job, staff!!! This is what customer service and sales "should" be!

Very impressed with the service and attitude. I am a newbie at the sport. Bought middle of the road set-up from a big box store, and they did the quick set up, and thanked me for my purchase. Purchased an up graded sight and rest that I installed myself. Could dial in at any distance, but did not stay consistent moving from distance to distance. Knew my alignment was off. Went into Adventure Archery this morning. Young lady at the desk was extremely pleasant, and told me I could get bow tuned. Guys at the desk jumped right on taking care of me. Did not matter that I bough elsewhere. While I got paper tuned, I could overhear conversation of young lady at desk, and that she was active in the sport. Found it neat that everyone worked their because they enjoy the sport, and not just hiring anyone. Gentleman helping me with my set up got my arrows flying straight, and then too took me to the range to get dialed in. Very quick process. Three guys working with customers on the range. Everyone very cordial and loose. Was not made to feel like a newbie with average equipment, but a customer that they where welcoming to the sport. Asked the gentleman helping me if there was something he would recommend I purchase to help improve my development. He said just practice, Very refreshing that he did not try to push product on me. Told me down the road what to consider. About a 45 minute drive, but no doubt I will make that drive each and every time given that type service. At the point I am ready to move into a flagship bow, they will be getting my purchase.

I have had nothing but excellent service from this establishment. Their main bow Tech Ray is TOP NOTCH! I don’t have the luxury of having an archery shop close to me so I driver about an hour just to come to Adventure Archery. I have purchased 2 bows from them and each time has been very pleasant. One of the bows I purchased happened to be a flagship bow and it had a warrantable failure. They handle it superbly in every way… Just as I would have when I was a warranty administrator for a heavy duty truck dealership. Then I had a non-warrantable failure 3 days before a big 3D shoot and they still treated me with unbelievable customer service and got my bow up and running for me to shoot in the Rinehart 100. As far as this bad review where this customer says he has been in archery for 7 years and was told rather “curtly/abruptly” to not draw and release… I have a few things to say about that….. First and foremost anybody with 7 years under their belt should know that it is always best/respectful to ask if it is alright to draw a bow of any kind from the owner of the bow. It baffles me how some people would just assume that because you walk into an archery shop you have extensive knowledge of bows. It sounds to me that this customer was looking for an issue before he walked in the door. Sad truly sad. Keep up the great work Adventure Archery I’ll be back!

Ive only been here once, but I have every intention of going back. I walked in, totally lost and regretfully was not acknowledged. Looking back, Im fairly sure it was just because everyone there is fairly laid back, as with most of their clientele. They probably werent expecting confused little me. That said, it only got better from there and I ultimately left pretty satisfied. Having not done archery in way too long, I brought in a bow that hadnt been used in years. They were really cool about checking it over and making sure it was in good condition. They fixed it up quick, which was nice, without any judgement, which was even nicer. They also helped me get an idea on what arrows I needed while still treating me like an intelligent human being. Not only that, one associate was trying to find me the cheapest ones that would work and was disappointed when they happened to be not quite right and I thereby needed more expensive ones. The range staff was also chill. Likely because the archers there were long time users. I accidentally misfired after an improper nock and they didnt yell at me. They were more concerned for my sanity and bow condition rather than berating me. Everyone there genuinely cared for the sport and the customers there. This is a great place and I would be happy to go back, as well as recommend it to others!

I have been in this store on multiple occations and the customer service gets worse with every visit. The ladies are more than willing to help but the male staff treat you as if they are doing you a favor by even talking with you. The last trip to the store was to have my arrows worked on and to have my son sized for a bow to start hunting. I asked the man behind the counter if we could test my sons draw weight and he walked away to the other room and started talking on his phone. I then started to look at the youth bows to test. The same man was walking buy on his way to the range and asked if I needed help. I told him my situation and didnt want to spend a great deal of money on a bow since my 10 year old was paying for. This same man proceeded to sell me on a $500+ starter bow. I said it was to expensive. He then stated well you could buy this Bear setup, but then your buying a Bear, meh. I then noticed an RTH setup and asked if my son could test it, he then asked what my sons draw weight was. I said thats what I was trying to get from you earlier. He then proceeded to test the draw weight on a different bow for a couple of minutes and then stated that my son would be able to draw that particular bow. At this time the older man was done with my arrows so I paid and left not wanting to continue.
