Foot Comfort goes through all the motions of being a caring, diabetic footware dealer for the VA. The velcro straps on my $130 sandals went bad and Foot Comfort refused to play any part in getting replacements. I had to call the manufacturer for some. The mfg was very helpful. Two days ago, on a $144 pair of Apex sneakers, less than a year old and worn perhaps 50 times, the bottom, rubber heel pad fell off my left sneaker. Again, I felt chased from the store for asking for assistance in repair or replacement. Apex referred me back to the VA since Foot Comfort would not furnish an order number when asked. If the VA can replace them through warranty, then fine, I will not let them just buy another pair as I would not do so myself. I will have to travel further for my VA prescribed shoes, but some courtesies and efforts are basic elements of product sales at the very scene of the exchange.

Absolutely fantastic experience. I was originally going to order a pair of shoes online but was a little bit lost on what I truly needed. Ive been buying the wrong shoes for years now and finally found what I needed. Mark helped me and was absolutely awesome. The staff is so friendly, energetic, and appreciative of your business. They make you feel right at home and fit you with the shoe that works best for your specific foot. Theyre informative and honest. Im so excited to have gotten a pair of shoes that work perfect for my overpronation and flat feet. We are planning on going back for my wife next time. I highly suggest visiting this place for your next shoe purchase. You will NOT be disappointed.

RANT!! Foot Comfort of Saint Augustine in Dollar Tree shopping center. Rudest lady Ever! Never ever do business here! Horrible customer service!! Treated my dad awful!! You lost tons of money today!! See the empty store that should tell you something!!! And dont be upset with me when you try to sell him Brooks Ghost 7 (neutral shoe) knowing he has Planters Fasciitis which indicates he would need a stability shoe. And then tell me that St. Augustine people are to cheap to pay $170 for a shoe and thats why you dont carry the Brooks Transcend 3! Because I own 5 pair!! Awful!! Not to mention he has only one hand and she asked him if he could tie his own shoes.

At 51 years old, with excessively deformed feet, there isnt a day in my life that I can recall that didnt involve foot pain. This lady was VERY concerned about my feet. Told me the sneakers I own are awesome and I should wear those to work in (I was looking for sandals). Her knowledge is off the charts, as is her concern and compassion. She helped me find cute sandals that I can actually walk in pain free, but encouraged me to wear those for social situations and not work or walking for exercise. Shoes I already owned that she did not sell me... they care. They "get it." They know what they are talking about.

Highly recommend this store to anyone with Diabetes. These folks are very friendly and more importantly experts in their business. They are not only Masters in fitting YOUR feet to your shoes, but are highly knowledgeable of the medicare rules, any insurance benefits and any up to date changes in the rules. They make your experience a Quick and Easy one by taking care of the paper work necessary for you while you are there. They are wonderful!
