my mother bought furniture form st Augustine and had very good service. she is moving to Clearmont fl with my sister and wanted to finish her set she went to Winter Garden fl and put the balance of her set in lay away she went in yesterday to pay the final payment and after waiting over half hour was told they had a clearance sale and her set was sold and not avaliable any more. wanted to sub the pieces but this was the balance of a matching set when you lay away are they not suppose to set this aside for you until it is paid for? this store gave us a hard time each time we went in to make a payment. I would not send any one to this location. (and no refund was given) I am going to St. Augustine with the receits today to see if they will help me. this review was not for St Augustine but for Winter Garden Fl. I give ST .Augustine 5 stars

Customer Service is so bad! This is the second time I have tried to buy something from Big Lots over the phone. I live out of state and have a Vacation Rental in St. Augustine. There are times when things get broken and need to be replaced immediately if someone is in the house. We have a platform bed that broke, so I wanted to go to a tradational frame and box springs which the store has, but they would not let me order it over the phone with a credit card, or on the internet and have someone else pick it up! I told them I could verify who I was by the last purchase from big lots (I have bought a lot of items from them). It was not just that, but the attitude of the manager was so unprofessional, I guess they dont need my business. Will make this happen, but not with Big Lots!

Got a nice table set here. Had trouble finding a way to get the set to my home. Had to rent a Home Depot van for 75min. Found out later they have a delivery service for 60 to 80$. The young woman that rang us up smelled badly of weed from break time or just getting to work after smoking it.
