I really used to like this place but in the past few years its changed,and all for the worse. My Dad and I have spent thousands at Pawn King over the last decade+,but no more after Monday. I went in to sell some silver rounds,nothing special.The spot at the time was $19.73/ounce,I checked before I went. They gave me $15/ounce. NO ONE pays that little. The coin dealer at Big Top flea market pays $.50 under spot.If he doesnt like you,he may pay $1 less,but only Pawn King,knowing that people going to a pawn shop are kind of desperate,rob you of over 20% of the value. My Dad bought all kinds of stuff from this place.He collected things. I bought a couple guns,a computer,multiple pieces of sporting goods including a compound bow for my daughter,2 chainsaws,video games,too much to list. I hope they get a lot of mileage out of that silver,its going to have to make up for the future purchases Ill be taking to their competition from now on. IF YOURE SELLING PRECIOUS METALS,GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Its a shame when a flea market vendor is more honest than an established store.

Terrible experience. Ordered a firearm and had it delivered to Pawn King. On the internet website the transfer fee is listed as $40.00. I called Pawn King and verified the transfer was $40. I called again this morning Dec.21st. and again I was told by the female that answered the phone that the transfer is $40. I went there to pick up my firearm and the price went up to almost $50 with taxes and background check. I refused to accept the firearm because of this rip off. I will not be extorted even for $10.00. Do not do business with Pawn King, they are dishonest. PS: I called and spoke with the manager of Pawn King about the above situation. He agreed to the transfer fee of $40.00 and I picked up my firearm. I think the way it was handled in the end speaks highly of the management at Pawn King. I just wish it would have happened the first time I was there instead of making a round trip. Bottom line is, it worked out in the end and, I am satisfied with the outcome.

The "Boy" Chris that works there has some sort of issue. He has a little authority(Must be the only Authority he has in life) couse he love to use it. Sad to say this Ive been doing business with these people for over 10 years yesterday marked my last day Ill ever walk in there. very poor knowledge and will not give you near the worth of your product that youre taking in there. And I promise Im not some pissed-off person that didnt get the amount of money I wanted so Im taking it out on Google reviews its just the past few times Ive been there I noticed this guy named Chris is a true moron. Ive bought multiple firearms from these guys and Ive had to pawn a few things with these guys both end of the deal is no good. Now the manager Eric is half-ass okay. Stay classy my friend.

I have recently purchasd multiple firearms from Pawn King. First one, I ordered online and had delivered to their store. There was a problem with the order but I called Pawn King and Chris jumped right on the problem and took care of it. I then bought two more firearms about a month later, one of which ( Glock 19 ) Chris helped with recommendations for modifications. I took his advice and had tritium sights put on, along with an extended slide release. He also installed them for me. I just got back from the range and the sights are DEAD on. Very happy with my purchases and the advice I recieved at Pawn King. I dont care what anyone else says on these reviews..... If you want to be able to talk to someone with no BS and get straight answers, this is your place, Chris is your guy.

Tim and his staff are genuinely a team of people with INTEGRITY! I shopped my gold to two other "Major Gold Buyers" and Pawn King blew them out of the water! Video games for the kids - CHEAPER AT PAWN KING, Kitch-Aide Mixer ($329 in other stores) was less than $100 bucks @ Pawn King, Lawn Equipment, Power Tools, Guns and all sorts of other great stuff is all CHEAPER AT PAWN KING! Expect to make money, expect to save money, expect a helpful staff, expect a clean and welcoming environment and expect integrity from the staff when you walk through the doors of Pawn King. I am a customer for life! Save yourself the wasted time of going elsewhere...hands down - PAWN KING IS SO MUCH MORE THAN YOU WOULD EVER EXPECT FROM A PAWN SHOP!

I have purchased several new and used guns from Tim. And even though I only go in usually when Im in the mood for buying something different, he seems to always recognize me and stops what he doing to help me. When I say something different, it usually is something that most people would not carry (special ordered new pink handled darringer was last purchase). Of course, with being a collector, prices are something one has to know before purchase. For what grade of items he sells, they are priced on the lower end of the scale leaving enough meat on the bone for the investment. He has earned me going there first before I really start searching; however, I usually find what Im looking for and then some.

My 13 yr old and I were interested in buying an X-Box but I didnt want to spend four hunderd dollars. We bought an almost brand new one at a huge saving and my sons been playing on in for almost two years now. I also took in very small amount of old gold jewerly in and walked out with over $400. WOW, I never expected to get that for my old jewerly!!! I have been back at other times and the staff is great! Always professional and friendly. I would HIGHLY recommend Pawn King to everyone!

I have been shopping at the Pawn King for about 5 years. I have bought musical instruments,jewelry,video games,etc, etc. I also got my conceled weapons certification from Tim. The class is unmatched when you consider the hands on training. The man is really good at what he does. The store is clean and friendly. (not a common find in Pawn Shops) If you like saving 30% to 80% of your hard earned money when you make purchases give the Pawn King a shot. Tell them Johnny sent ya.

Was there yesterday with my husband. As soon as we walked in he said "wow, what a nice shop". True, very nice and neat. Easy shopping, very impressed with the gun area. Their selection is great as are the prices. Weve been shopping for a while now and found that The Pawn King by far has the best prices on all weapons, from pistols to rifles. Will absolutely refer family and friends. Kudos to manager Tim and his staff for making his store "Not the run of the mill Pawn Shop".
