Once you create a relationship with him, they are awesome. He will work with anyone, respect and trust is earned not automatically given. At first I didnt like him because I called on the Default date of my pawn and asked for an extension for a day and he said no and put my stuff out on the floor. I bought my stuff back, at least what he had left of it for almost the same price I pawned it for. If you research the laws in Florida for loans, then you realize that he is simply following the rules, being an honest, legal above board business man, not a junk collector, or a scam. I do like him now and he has cut me deals on other stuff that I have purchased since I now go in there regularly. He doesnt need any ones stuff is why he is particular on what he takes for a pawn. Keep in mind, even though you say you will return, anything could happen in that time frame, an accident, hell with all the shootings and crap going on now a days, any one could be a victim and never get back there then he is stuck with items he cant turn. Each to their own as far as their experience with this shop, but I think he is ok...

Very rude! My husband took my several of my authentic name brand purses, which included a coach purse and wristlet, dooney wristlet and a fetish by eve purse, his first words was is this all you have with a sneer and proceeded to rudely tell us that he only took them if they are in new condition, this is after we called them about these purse and never said anything about new condition. My husband went to ask him a question and he just walked away! Rude and horrible customer service!

They call customers Liars... I wasnt even a customer yet. I needed a little money and was asking to pawn an item.. I have receipts for the item. They kept telling me nobody wants that item its a camcorder.. I told them I want my camera back. I just need a loan. Then he says i cant go by good faith that youll come back and get it. So your calling me a liar....

I have NEVER had a problem at 1st Pawn. Im reading some of these reviews & honestly see no real complaints. If you didnt like the price, dont buy it. Who pawns purses? GTHOH with these childish issues. You can find good deals on good stuff, & the customer service reflects the customers.
