Memorial Day is more than a day off to have a picnic to celebrate the beginning of summer. It’s about remembering those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Doc Paper Scissors notified our customers well in advance that we were honoring and remembering those who sacrificed all in service to our country and would be closed for the weekend, one of the few Saturdays we are closed throughout the year. Its too bad Barry Kirsch cannot support a business who occasionally closes on a Saturday. Our customers are important, which is why we give notice when we will be closed. But our national holidays are are also important and we will continue to honor them and to allow out one full time staff member, who works 6 days a week, the opportunity to celebrate these holidays along with the rest of the country. We will continue to be closed on the occasional Saturday, and we will, as we always do, notify our customers in advance. We will be closed July 4th weekend and Labor Day weekend.
