I see the few comments here and whatever the case may be, they helped me and my daughter out by allowing me to pawn my Tiffany bracelet which i found out was not authentic so when we were left for dead by my evil neighbor from Georgia when she kicked us out of her sisters house in Florida. They let me use their phone, printed out directions to get into Downtown Tampa to find resources to get home and wanted me to call them when I made it back. I feel the reviews are from individuals who have pawned or sold items and are suffering from buyers remorse or bitter of the outcome! They dont hold a gun to your head to make you pawn anything and are reasonable and fair as any other pawnshop. While I was there, I glanced at some of their items for sale and found it to be fair in price. I was thinking inspite of my daughter and I situation, if I had money, I would purchase some items. Regardless of the dogs they have, at the end of the day, you have options not to come in, but I know that they were there when you needed them so dont complain now. I guess that is the way of the world, you use someone when you need them and when you are out of need, you bash. I have nothing but kind words and would support this business to the fullest. Again, they helped me and my child when we were stranded in a city and state we knew nothing about. God Bless!

STAY AWAY FROM HERE! Ive dealt with these people a few times on purchases. All their items are OVERPRICED! They have a used PS3 slim in there for $300....thats the NEW price! Thay have dated computers and laptops for the price of new current ones. Today I went in for the LAST TIME and asked about a cash deal on a stack of video games and told the lady behind the counter what I would pay. SHE SLAMMED THE GAMES ON THE COUNTER, WAS VERY RUDE, AND WALKED AWAY! Previously they sold me a yamaha that worked 1 time....when they demoed it to me. I had to GIVE the piece of crap away. I literally put it on the curb with the title paperwork under the seat and wrote FREE on it. Then I find out later that the person they sold it for ended up in jail for selling stolen property to another pawn shop. These people always have dogs running around the back so the whole place reeks of urine and feces. If you are hillbilly trailer trash....you may like this place. Youll get along just fine with EVERYONE there. The only cool people are the spanish guys that work there. Everyone else crawled out of the sewer. Stay away or youll be SORRY

This store is a true Pawn Shop. It may look unorganized, but it has a very wide selection of merchandise that is used merchandise that has been taken in on a pawn or a buy. They have some new items in the store but not a lot like most of your other so called pawn shops.This store is very workable with there pricing and help. They do not like to bother you while looking around but if got question just ask and they go out of there way to try to help. I needed a tool and in stead of buying it they rented it to me very reasonably priced. I over heard that they even have lay away. They even worked with another lady that forgot to make payments on a item to get it back to them. I give this P awn Shop 5 stars. Really great people and atmosphere.

The first thing that smacks you in the face when you walk in the door is the overwhelming stench of dogs. The people who own the shop breed Boston Terriers and the entire store smells like dog urine, dog feces, and general dog odor. All animals have been kept in undersized cages every time I have visited over the last 7 years. They mark the prices for items when they first buy things and dont take the time to account for depreciating values. You will occasionally find a decent item, but you usually need to haggle with the workers to remind them that they are higher than market value. I recommend rubbing a heavy dose of Vicks VapoRub under both nostrils and carrying a smart phone for price checking before entering the store.

This place is absolutely AWFUL. 1st the fat old man is shirtless and sweaty, walking behind the counter, the the fat old lady just sits on the phone while customers wait in line, not even making eye contact, just ignoring potential buyers. The counters and everything inside was covered in dust like they havent opened in 20 years. The younger fat lady is completely useless, like she even has to ask to breathe, doesnt know anything at all about the business. Never in my life I would spend money in a junkyard like that. FYI, where a haz-mat suit if your going to visit this hole, cause it reeks of sun-beaten urine.

Awful, Awful place. 4 dogs barking in cages behind the counter, barely able to move for "merchandise" (read junk). I called up in advance to check the prices on three different items. The first price doubled from advertised on the phone (still an okay price so fair enough)... When I get to the store it was then FOUR TIMES the price. Citing "it must have sold". The remainder of the items turned out multiple times the price communicated communicated (Im talking $20 turning into $180 here). Basic Manipulation. Very poor business practice. DO NOT MAKE THE TRIP READ THE OTHER REVIEWS. I wish I had.

I went there today and the owner was ignoring me when I wanted to pawn something. Finally I asked if he would help. SPEAKING IN ENGLISH. He says Im working on something. Anyways he says dont you understand english. Im mexican but yes FAT STUPID owner I do. So I walked out and who knows what racist remarks he made about me when I left. Hey dirt bag I sold my items in 2hrs on craiglist. And yes I got more than what you wouldve paid me. Your. KKK meeting is at 7pm. And your blood pressure is around 190. POSFB.

I wouldnt trust ANYTHING these people sell. I wouldnt trust anything they say. They are dishonest and low-life people, scum of the earth. I wouldnt give two cents to these people. And how people could work with all that stench of dog feces and urine is beyond me...maybe it is affecting their brains. Truly the worst pawn shop I have dealt with in 40+ years. Heads up to the Ruskin Police, wouldnt hurt to keep an eye on these folks!

never been i live in tampa but someone took my stolen iphone here according to find my iphone and its the last place it was on, and they wont answer the phone during business hours for anyone leading me to assume that theres some shiesty happenings involving my cell phone, if i could give less than 1 star i would.
