Every time that I come to this store, I need to use one of the electric carts to shop with. During the day there are NEVER enough carts to meet the demand of those who need them, and if I am fortunate enough to find one, it has JUST been returned, and the battery is never fully charged. When I do finally get one, many times the battery will last just long enough for me to fill the basket with frozen and refridgerated food, and them the battery will die at the back of the store. MANY TIMES I have asked to speak to the store manager about this problem, and I am always told that there are several managers, but NEVER has any employee acknowleged that there is ONE STORE MANAGER that is Responsible for the entire store. One time when I spoke to "A" manager about not having enough electric carts, he smiled, shrugged his shoulders and said "We just have TOO MANY CUSTOMERS!!!" I now do all my shopping only after midnight, when all of the carts are charged. The employees at night are really terrific. They will always go the extra mile to help you in any way that they can. THANK GOODNESS for them!! Bottom Line: FIRE the Store Manager and replace him/her with someone who really cares about the quality of service that Wal-Mart Corporation is known to have. Horrible! Worse shopping experience ever. Holiday weekend and in a store that has over twenty check out lanes, only two regular lanes were open. Express n self checkout doesnt work for an entire cart of groceries. The store sucks, employees ignorant n even the customer base has a permanent blank stare. The insult to injury after being subjected to all this is the "security" that treats each and every person leaving the store as a criminal by stopping you on the way out and going over your receipt as though you just stole something, while your ice cream melts in the cart. I hate this plant city store and will tell everyone who listens how bad it is. Do yourself a favor n drive the extra distance to the mulberry walmart. Despite the added drive you will save time, agravation and even some money as many items are a little cheaper there and they put out reduced price meats throughout the week.

This is my primary store since I live very close and absolutely dread coming here every time. I have been told that many of the products I like have been removed to accomodate the spanish population in the area. This place is always dirty and nasty, not to mention all the homeless people that sleep in thier vehicles in the parking lot or just to hang out. Almost everytime I go there I am stopped getting in or out my car by someone asking for change. The majority of the employees are very lazy and are almost always playing on thier cell phones. Dont even try the site to store shopping, you will get the run around and then stand at the desk for a very long time with no assistance at all. I have recently switched to the valrico walmart eventhough I am 3 minutes from plant city walmart.

The customer service is the worst I have experienced yet!! I was at the jewelery counter when a very nice man with his family was asking about a peice of jewelery she stood their huffing and puffing, so annoyed and angry that he would even ask, when thats what she is paid to freaking do. Well while he was browsing and when he made his purchase his change was literally THROWN at the man. His change went everywhere and I had to help him pick up the pennies!!! While she turned around continued talking amongst the other jewelery counter lady she turned to me with an innocent smile and a cheerful mood and asked if I needed to see anything in the jewelery counter. WHAT A WITCH! I spoke to the manager but she could have cared less!

We went shopping early this morning and I wanted to make sure the cashier was given credit for her excellent customer service. The 5 stars are for her. Tashandra was our cashier at the garden center register and she was the most pleasant cashier weve every had at any store. From the time we approached her register and she greeted us with a very happy smile and hello, to thanking us after we paid, she made our early Sunday morning shopping trip as pleasure.

Long long lines at check out; 3x went to customer service or stopped a manager to ask for more cashiers; have observed managers talking on cell phone when could have been waiting on customers. Even at 1130 pm it doesnt have enough cashiers open. Migrant Farm workers are bussed in on Sunday I think. Thats OK, Id just like to know for sure when so I dont go on that day. Customer service on returns is great & quick.

This is less a review on Walmart than it is on the people that I met during one of the busiest shopping days of the year. This stranger gave me one of his armbands (used to hold an item on black Friday) because he had two but only needed one. He phoned his daughter, who was inside the store or just outside the store, and she brought him the extra armband. There are some good folks in Plant City.

I work here, One of the overnight cashiers, We do our best to serve the customers in the best and quickest way possible, all in all its an excellent place to work with lots of benefits, and we always seem to have what I need when I need it. Its understaffed here and there, however find a Walmart that isnt understaffed on registers at 12 in the morning then get back to me :)

I am sure this is like 90% of all peoples complain. The check out. Every sat. and sun. will be 30 to 45 minutes due to the shortage of cashiers. Busiest day to shop. But when you work mon-fri you have no choice. The restroom in the front of the store is so dirty and paper is overflowing on to the floor in every hamper they use as trashcans.

This is the worst Walmart in Hillsborough county. You could drive to Valrico and back before youll get through the check out here. Dozens of aimlessly wondering employees, minimal cashiers open. At night its easiest to call the store and complain. To the manager, who will come out to help cash out customers if you are persistent enough.

Plant City is the worst. Not one of the employees acknowledged I was in the store. Not one of them asked if I needed help finding anything. Not even the greeter said hello. The store was a mess. Nothing was in stock that I needed. Never have my size of any clothes. I only went there for 4 items, spent 2 hours and finally just left.

I will never ever return to this Walmart! The place is nasty! Meat market is disgusting, grocery lanes are ill stocked, customers are rude, employees are incompetent. Lines are HORRIBLY long (45 minute wait, mainly due to incompetence ), parking lot is a mad house. I should have went to Publix (as I kicking myself in the butt)
