I should have known from the moment I heard how the manager here spoke to his staff there would be trouble... I called this Best Buy store twice within three hours upon my arrival to pick up an iPad 3 (16 GB, black, WiFi) that I was told twice over the phone was available. I repeated to whoever answered the phone, who spoke English just fine, that "OK, so you have enough of these that when I arrive after work from far away to pick up a black 16 GB iPAD 3 with WiFi you have it?" Yes. Twice. So, I show up. I talk to three young men, all apologetic, who tell me they dont have this product and that likely the ditz on the phone told me they had the product available that was only available to purchase on Sunday, March 25 because of an ad they put out... Today is Friday, March 23.... they had 10 iPads in the store and would not sell them to us. We speak to the manager. The same manager who shooed his employee away when initially approached early. We explain to the manager what happened (we drove from afar, we called twice, you have them, we are willing to give you hundreds of dollars right now etc.") Nope, nothing. He says "come back Sunday." You know what? Try "come back never!" This isnt the only place in town with this product; heck its not even YOUR product! I work in the marketing/communications/sales department for a brand more nationally recognized than a Best Buy, and my boyfriend, who I was with, creates databases for a company with an international headquarters and sub-divisions across the world. You know what we do in a case like this? Make it effing right. You MISCOMMUNICATED, and your employees are so poorly trained, probably because their leadership is so flawed, and dont know how to read what you have in INVENTORY. Is this my fault? No. So, to the manager at Best Buy who could barely look me in the eye (hes the tall, likely European one as he had an accent - you know, I can say that cos my parents are immigrants) - I want to thank you for being a terrible leader and communicator. Because 10 minutes after I left your store, I had a shiny new iPad 3 in my hand thanks to the wonderful Apple Store we found at Crocker Park nearby. And the man who sold it to me was a peach. I will buy from him again. Best Buy doesnt care about you, people. Dont spend your money here. (By the way, I informed the staff before I left I would write this review, and they need to start paying attention because they the reviews on here were so unfavorable. I wish I had taken them more seriously before I walked in their doors. I will continue to tell my network to avoid this store.)

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I thought the employee was the expert on the cameras so I started asking questions. I asked him why the size of the camera sensor matter. He said bigger size able to collect more information. I then asked what kind of information since I got curious about it. He said information again. So I asked is it light? He said you can called it light and then he told me to look it up on YouTube. He turned away and talked to my family more about the camera. I looked up on Google and it said that information the sensor is collecting is light. So I read it to him and he looked at me and said he dont want to talk to me anymore and that I can just go take a walk elsewhere. He gestured to my family that he will only talk to them but not me. Well, I thought he would like to learn new things like I do, but I guess he would rather just call it information without knowing exactly what it is. I will take my business elsewhere if this is how they treat their customers.

We had a recent experience at the Avon Best Buy with terrible customer service. Our advice - #1 - make sure you know the dates sales expire, as sales people may not notify you that an item you are discussing with them is going off of sale. #2 - Due to our poor customer service experience at the Avon Best Buy, we discovered that you can get appliances on the internet for much, much less; with no shipping and no tax. By Best Buy treating us so poorly we turned to the internet, purchased a refrigerator on-line, and saved over $350. In short, our recommendation is to go into the store, pick out the appliance which fits your needs, do your research on Consumer Reports, then enter the manufacturer and model # in Google Shopping to get the best price. So far we are thrilled with the customer service of the on-line provider. Never thought I would buy an appliance on-line, but you really can save ALOT and get better customer service then anything you get at the Avon Best Buy.

Just read the previous reviews (almost all poor)- youll get an idea of how this store works. Its unfortunate because I havent had poor experiences with any other Best Buy store except this one. Sadly - the bad attitude of the store manager translates over to the employees (who Im sure dont want to behave this way). Best Buy better be careful or they are going to end up like so many other retail electronics stores .... out of business. In my conversation with the store manager - I asked him if hes read the reviews of his store on Google ...his reply "No. And that has nothing to do with this conversation". When I tried to tell him they were all negative - he interrupted me multiple times. I asked him if he was just going to continue to interrupt me .... his response ? "Yes, I am".

The manager helped me get a dryer for my mom in no time at all. It was a floor model on clearance and a good bargain for my mom. They upsell new cords and vent tubes, but my mom had an expensive tube and didnt want the new cord. They wouldnt install it unless i bought a new cord. That was not happening. Because it was a floor model, it had to be sent back to the warehouse before it could be delivered to my moms house. I wasnt happy about that, since I needed to be there for delivery and I was flying home. Had to make arrangements for the delayed delivery. Overall I think it was a good purchase.

Absolutely the worst,I went to buy windows 8.1 operating system and asked the customer service representative if I wasnt able to install it would I be able to return it. He said yes there is a 15 day return policy. It would not install on my computer and I went to return it the next day and the customer service employee said I could not return it because the wrapping was removed. Thanks for wasting $130 dollars. I will never shop with you again your liars and con artists.

Terrible customer service. When asked questions about products employees read the info on the box. They don't know any additional info. Also, if you're going to take something back, do it quickly. My wife bought me a video camera and my son wasborn soon after. We never had time to take the camera back within the 2 week 'grace'is period. Wouldn't even give us store credit. Just walked away. Never shop here!
