Every time we go to this location the staff is rude and stand-offish. They act like you are asking for their kidney when you need to find a book. I was just there and the lady at the customer srvc kiosk couldnt find 4 books in a row. Wait times were easily 10 minutes per person in line. I inquired about a book in the bargain section to find out what the clearance price was, the employee (a different employee) was insistent that the publishers price above the UPC was the bargain price and was unwilling to even look up the price in the computer. Worst Barnes and Noble location by far. Service is terrible and the selection is sparse.

I take my 13-month old daughter here because she loves books. We come for storytime on Saturdays and just peruse the aisles afterwards. The staff is very friendly and patient. I do wish that story time had a little more excitement (more energetic) because kids have limited attention spans. I also wish that they would price match to their website. I understand why they dont (overhead of a store vs. warehouse) but brick and mortar bookstores are dying -- some money is better than nothing. I spend a lot of money on books between me, my child, and my husband but I end up buying online because its cheaper.

Going to the store is always an ok experience, though the staff generally wants very little to do with anyone. Dont bother calling the store. After a lengthy and pointless monologue, someone picks up the phone and asks where she can transfer you. I then proceeded to wait 5 minutes before the line went dead. This process happened 5 calls in a row. Whichever employee is behind this should no longer be working at this store. If you have the ability to go to a different location, do so.

Awesome! Love Barnes n Noble on Sand Lake! Great service,great selection, and best little cafe in Orlando! The Peps thier know how to,make u feel warm and,welcomed! The tasty gourmet coffees, coupled with some mmmmm good pastry, and dont forget to try the Mini pizzas! The one,draw back, I just dont understand, has been this,way for years, even after compliant , after compliant is the Truly Disgusting Bathrooms!! OMG, this drops, Barnes n Noble to 2 Stars, because of it.

I come here at least two to three days a week after class. The staff is for the most part pretty lovely. My favourite employee always recognizes me and says hello; he has this wonderfully gentle and kind air even though Im painfully shy. The members of the staff that have been there for a while are really helpful. The poetry section is usually a bit disappointing, however. I doubt theres a huge variation in that between the different stores though.

I love going to this Barnes and Noble. When I have a couple hours to kill I head there for a coffee and to get some homework done or read. The staff is very friendly and remembers my order at the Café. If I ever need a book for class or for the book club I am in they are always happy to help me find it or order it for me. This B&N location is fantastic.

Ive decided I wont be spending my money here.....every other place I go (online included) have great return policies. Tried to return something that was over two weeks old today and they wont take it, wont even give a gift card or exchange for it (yes, I had the receipt). And the staff was rude about it too, totally ridiculous, Ill stick with Amazon!

credible selection of popular and rare books at excellent prices. One thing they should consider investing in is a computer for customers to search bookIs on because there are so many titles (and because the staff is usually in a sour mood). But I overlook these things because the variety of books is so great.

We came in for the Harry Potter activities and immediately noticed Diana working and serving lots of customers. We saw her through out the store serving lots of people, smiling, and was very friendly in conversation. My wife, friend and I were very well taken care of! Thanks, Diana!

Store does not price match their own website. When called to ask was rudely interrupted. Called amazon and ordered the same set of books for 75 bucks cheaper combined with next day shipping on a Sunday. I definitely would deal with amazon rather than any barnes and noble.

One of the few bookstores left in the area. Naturally very large selection of books. Most people using Internet for their daily readers, thats why we need to support this bookstore. For those of us who enjoy reading a "real book" this is the place to go.

Friendly staff. Clean store. Easy parking. Starbucks in store. Lots of locals hang here. Nice bathrooms. Free wifi. Fully stocked store, most books are in stock. Can order books and pick up here. Seating outside too. Very safe Dr Phillips neighborhood.

Barnes & Noble is a community staple in the Dr Phillips area. Great place to shop, study, or just grab a coffee and read a magazine on a Sunday afternoon. Large store with great selection of books, music, art and writing supplies.

Pretty nice Barnes and Nobles I used to frequent. It can be pretty high traffic so things can get a little disheveled and the bathrooms a little grungy. Other than those small gripes typically a good experience

Rude staff, more importantly never buy anything from their store, books are twice as much than on the website or Amazon. Was told when I asked about this, "thats what the book distributors tell us to do"

Since the first of the year they have been playing this LOUD obnoxious music. I have stopped going. Music more like you would find in a neighborhood bar than a bookstore. . . . former regular customer.

They have a huge selection of journals. However, some of them can be found in other sections of the store (bargain section, clearance section, note book section, Harry Potter section, ends of aisles)
