Had a store credit issued to me on April 9th, went to use the card last Wednesday and the cashier told me it was empty. The manager on duty did not have permissions to see the history of the card and told me that I would hear from Evan, another manager on saturday. Saturday comes along I never get a call back, so I go down to the store to see Evan and he has no idea what I am talking about. He was able to look up the history of the card and told me it was used in oviedo, altamonte Springs and Lee Rd in Orlando. He then tells me that loss prevention team has to review the tapes etc and I should get a call in the next few days. Wednesday comes along still no call. I called home depot again myself asked for manager and he was completely useless would not even bother checking whether there is any other updates and just told me to call back when Evan was there. I wonder if Evan will even remember me. Now Im out almost 150 bucks. Until this is resolved I guess Ill buy all my lumber for my next project from lowes. Would of spent 500 by now if my store credit wasnt hijacked. UPDATE: the day after I posted my review I get a call saying that my store credit issue was approved and it should come in within the next 4 days. I show up to the store a week and half later and I am given a piece of paper with a store credit card attached to it. I go and try to use it and its empty. Went back to customer service and after waiting 20 minutes for a manager to show up and talk to me face to face they never showed. I then made numerous phone calls over the last 2 weeks to see if my card came in and it is still not there. I finally decided to call the corporate location and they tell me that they do not replace store credit because they are treated like CASH. WTF?! Why wasnt I told this by numerous store managers that I dealt or talked with from the very beginning? Last time I spend a dime with Home depot.

On March 26, 2016 at around 7:30 am I was at The Home Depot in Orange City, FL. I had looked around several isles for Wood Glue, I was unable to locate it. I noticed an employee sorting bins and kindly approached him and said "Excuse me, but I am unable to find wood glue, can you help me or point me in the right direction?" The employee completely ignored me for about 45 seconds until he looked up, threw the items in his hands down and proceeded to walk away. I stated to the employee "If you point me in the direction I can find it. I am so sorry for bothering you." The employee then mumbled under his breath "Well obviously youre not." and the proceeded to walk in the direction. He pointed to it and I stated "Thank you" and he completely ignored me and walked away. This is not the first time that an employee at this location has been rude to me. I just purchased a home and have spent over $1,000 at this location and believe me, I will not be returning after being treated so rudely for asking a simple question. I would much rather go to the Lowes down the street and pay a little extra and be treated with a little more respect. I would just like the business to train their employees to treat their customers with a little more respect, it is there job and what they are paid for afterall.

As others have said..most people in the orange city store are useless at best. if and when you do get someone to help they dont know a can of paint from a trash can. I dont even ask anymore. the people in that store are a sad joke and dont give a ratz a** about anything other then collecting a paycheck. Now I want to warn folks about Whirlpools customer service. in plain English it S***S!! I have always liked Whirlpool so I bought a set of everything for my kitchen & laundry 2 weeks ago and had a few minor issues an 8 yr old could of handled. but not whirlpool! Im not going into details about it. Just be sure you do your homework or better yet! do the unwrapping yourself! Whirlpool is not the same great quality it once was.

Bought a 12v Black and Decker drill from this store with cash. Thinking there would not be anything wrong with a brand new drill, I tossed the receipt. Terrible mistake. When I opened the box that my drill came in, it looked really used. All of the numbers on the drill were worn, battery would not charge, and all the metal on the chuck was scratched like it had been heavily used to grind down a piece of metal using the side of the chuck ! People in the store were useless, and acted like because it was a cash purchase the drills bar code wouldnt be present in some sort of inventory history. I will never shop here again. If i could give -stars I would. I hope this store goes out of business.

HORRIBLE! Told "not my department" by three people in a 20 minute span. Finally went to the front desk to ask for help and was told the "store manager" was sending someone over right away. Another 15 minutes go by and no one shows up! So off to LOWES I go for the rest of the items during my home remodel!! ( I think its sad that I HAVE to click a star to post this)

vultures, went in for a couple items, had lady hound me about a water survey, then another stopping me asking how old my A/c is, however when I needed assistance finding something there was no one to help me find what I needed. Ill shop elsewhere where they dont inundated you trying to push services and products on you.

What a great experience! I was looking for a part in plumbing that no one had including Home Depot... I asked if we could Frankenstein something and he came up with the perfect solution by thinking outside of the box. Home Depot needs more guys like this in every department!

As soon as I walked in. I was helped with the purchase of two A.C. units. The guy got me a cart and took me to the register, waited. And then loaded them in my car. I was out of there in ten minutes flat. Good service, keep it up. More than I can say for your competitors
