Thoroughly disgusted with this dealership. Coggin Deland Ford misrepresented the vehicle which had clearly been in an accident that’s why the hood is raised 1/2" above the top of the fenders, the lines on either side of the hood are not even and the front bumper does not match up to the fenders on either side of their 2009 Blue Ford Escape XLT. The person who purchased this for this dealership and or listed the vehicle should be fired! Just because you have a clean carfax that says 1 owner and never been in an accident does not mean the vehicle has not been in an accident and the owner paid the repair costs out of pocket. This dealership wasted my time, effort and money. Coggin Deland Fords fees are the highest of the five ford dealerships I visited (charging electronic filing fees $98 (no one else had), new tags $425 (every other ford dealership was $389), charging $699 dealer fee & tax on top of the $699 which non of the other ford dealerships did. After explaining to 2 sales people plus the sales manager KEN & Jennifer I live in citrus county we are only 6% they just couldn’t get it right trying to charging me 7% when I received the quote from Jennifer and when I sat down with Beshoy a sales representative on 11/25/2016 at 9am. Autumn never returned my initial calls and had to call back multiple times to Jennifer Gruber stating I have to pay tax on top of the wrong tax rate taxed on the dealer fee and taxed on the tags and electronic filing fee? Ken Sidana arguing with me on the phone saying he could not drop the price or remove any fees from the quote he never even fully filled out. But 2 days later they dropped the price of the vehicle $500 so it was a blatant lie on Kens part. The quote from this dealership is attached and does not even have the make model of the vehicle, it just says NEW which is incorrect with an incorrect tax rate for citrus county and is just plain laziness on his part as a sales manager to not include any vehicle or customer information. This dealership plans to dip into a potential car buyers pocket before they even walk through the door and you can do much better at any other Ford dealer. I drove 4.5 hours round trip, spending gas food expenses and my time only to find out they misrepresented the vehicle and am livid because the team at Coggin Deland Ford only had one job and their reputation on the line and they failed miserably costing me time & money.

Is it possible to give less than 1 star? Suffice it to say, I purchased a low mileage Honda CRV for $22,000. The battery died on me in a dangerous situation (with my child in the car) 2 weeks later. I had cancelled Geico because the Finance Man told me my Platinum Warranty came with roadside assistance) - not true. Was also told I would receive my first four oil changes free. Took it in, for an oil change and told them about the battery - they said they would test - waited over 4 & 1/2 hours and they came back giving me a bill for oil change. Then I asked about battery. The service rep said he would go check the notes, came back and said "it tested low, but youll have to make an appointment to change that." So - oil change was expensive, and drove off with battery still being near dead. Car started some odd noises upon acceleration at 50mph, and I found out that the heat didnt heat (though it blew) on drivers side during winter road trip up north. When I returned, took it in and they said they would charge $179 to look at it to see if the warranty covered it. My local mechanic said no problem he would look at it for FREE and then submit to warranty (Mickeys Auto Port Orange -highly recommend them)There is much much more about how I tried to talk to several people about this and the headache of even making a honda service appointment when you buy from Coggin Ford. ALL KINDS OF HORROR. So this review is for Coggin Ford and Coggin Honda. Management refused to even call. Though they did send an email to wish me a happy birthday. Not normally one for bad reviews. Thing is - I went in to this dealership pre-approved, and didnt give them a hard time tho I own a Honda CRV worth 12,000 and owe 22K. Uncool and not right bright business people to not even follow up. Im a high-mileage driver, so I would have been back for more punishment, but I woke up. Buyer def. beware.

If it were possible to give this place a "zero star" that is actually the one I would pick. My experience. Well, my husband and I went here to get a used car that we saw online. They told us that all of their cars were certified and that they do and multipoint inspection, blah blah blah. The particular car we were looking at was older. It was a Buick Rendezvous. My husband asked them if there was any issues with the intake manifold because those tend to go out in this particular model of car. They told us that they would of detected it when checking the vehicle. Still skeptical, my husband asked about a warranty. There is no warranty of any kind on a used car. But they assured us that this car "owned to a little old lady who just used it to drive around town. She bought it brand new and the only reason she traded it in was because her husband could no longer drive". So, my husband and I took these crooks on their word and went ahead and bought the car. Wouldnt you know it, less than a year later the head gasket warped. My husband and his friend were able to fix it but we started noticing other things falling apart. We ultimately decided to trade it in for a more reliable car - as this one had left us stranded multiple times. Upon trading it in we learned that we were not the second owners - we were the FIFTH. The car came from Miami and had been in an accident. So, we got next to nothing on it as a trade. Please, if you have to go here- please, please, PLEASE get a CaRFAX!!!! These snakes will say anything and put you in any kind of danger just to make a buck. Taking advantage of our trusting nature. I would not send my worst enemy here for a car. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

BEWARE of Coggin DeLand Ford! I took my car into their body shop after hail damage. The repairs included repainting the entire car except the rear bumper. I received very poor quality work and customer service that is like a nightmare. The first time they called me and said the car was finished, when I arrived the work had not been all completed. When I pointed this out to the body shop mgr, he became angry and insisted that all the work was done. I had to produce photos of what the car looked like before they painted it to prove they had not performed all the work I paid for before they would finish it. When I finally was able to pick up my car, they presented a written lifetime warranty covering their body shop work. I thought this was a good sign....... WRONG! The paint keeps buckling and coming off my car. They angrily spot sanded and spot painted the effected areas once. But the buckling and peeling of their paint job returned and they are REFUSING TO HONOR THEIR WARRANTY! The management has acted unethical and dishonest in this matter! They never call when they say they will. They play stall and delay tactics. What good is a warranty if the company will not honor it? I think everyone should think twice before trusting this company with their car (which is the second most expensive item most of us buy in our lifetime).
