This mall has a really dated feel to it, and I cant really see myself being a regular here. The carpet in most of the stores is probably as old as the stores and a lot of the places have an odd, unpleasant smell. The theater is fair; I went to see Deadpool here and some trashy parents had their 7-8 year old sons with them that made noise and stomped around the aisles the whole movie. If you bring your 7 year old kid to a movie like Deadpool be aware you suck as a parent and should be sterilized. It felt like every third store in the mall was closed; the tough economy seems to have taken its toll on this place. They have a "cajun" place in the food court (which is really just an asian place that serves bourbon chicken) and other standard mall food fare like Chik fil A, the diarrhea factory known as Panda Express, McDonalds, and a Charlies. The Ruby Tuesdays has shut down. This mall is wheezing its dying breaths, and I would not be surprised to see the entire mall shut down or repurposed in the next few years.

So sad... this was a thriving Mall. Now its down right scary... no stores are left and the Dillards is now an outlet store... this needs to become a Tanger outlet mall or Prime outlet mall...we dont have one West of I-4 or the Turnpike...living in NW lake County everything is so far away. This would be a gold mine...the is no place to eat and why would you want to. Almost seems dangerous at least during the day. So sad..its such a beautiful building. If you are single older person I would never go there...

Shopping is not a spectator sport, but with Orlando’s tourist throngs coming out en masse to sack the city from outlet mall to retail mega-center, it can sometimes be a contact sport. The cool part? Venues such as the Buena Vista Factory Stores and Orlando Premium Outlet on International Drive are often microcosms of sorts – modern day bazaars where travelers from distant lands, speaking different languages come to buy the things they need. Of course, True Religion jeans and Nike cross-trainers

Hey! This mall is a perfect place to make one of those movies about the end of the world. I believe its over 50% closed stores, including big names that left the place. Depending of what time you chose to visit it it may be scary if not unsafe. But in regular hours is fine. My wife takes our 3 y.o. grand daughter at least once a week to play in their indoor playground which kids love. And the beautiful carousel and other rides are still working. Theater is also working and is neat.

Wide range of merchandise available and the AMC theater has good quality seats, sounds and visuals. The inner part of the mall has a walking track measured out in 1/4 miles so you can get your exercise in a well lit and air conditioned environment. Theres also a really cute play area for the kids thats corralled by a somewhat comfy wraparound cushioned bench seat. They have a carousel inside by the movie theater. The playground is free, the carousel is not.

I love the theatre. I wish they could figure out a way to get more stores in here. This place used to be hoppin! The food court is sparse on selections. DIllards is now a big clearance store with row after row of clothes racks. JC Penny is the only other anchor store left. The rest of the stores are a lot of off brand shops. The corridors are warm due to the lack of stores being open and cooling it off. I still go there for the movies, but thats about it.

13 years ago it was beautiful. Half the stores are empty, too warm in there. Little air conditioning. Probable cant afford it. Not that many people in there. Poor type of merchandise. Dillards looks like an outlet store with high prices. Not a big choice in food court and is expensive. Milkshakes are $6.00 for what used to be a small cup is now called large. The mall wont last much longer. Outside strip malls have taken over.

Evelyns Creation is one of the Best Stores in the West Oaks Mall...She also has The Art Gallery...a few doors down from her other shop. This Gallery is Second to None. She has become my personal seamstress, because of her outstanding work. She is very friendly, Professional, creative, smart, and has a pleasing attitude. I highly recommend that everyone, at least stop by these shops an take a look at what youve been missing.

Only gets 3 stars because of the movie theater which is convenient and good ticket prices, otherwise the rest of the mall is hanging on by life support. They cant even afford to turn on the a/c in the mall, it seems to be up to remaining individual stores to try and cool the building. If there happen to be any stores you like that are still open and you hate shopping with crowds, then this is the place for you.

There are many small business owners in this mall, that are struggling to stay a float. I shop here occasionally with that in mind, in efforts to contribute especially considering many of these businesses are minority owned. "Its so sad that it seems another business closes almost monthly here." Please contribute if youre in the area, they have good products, maybe just the wrong location, or poor advertising?

I dont shop there as there arent many stores to begin with. Only go for AMC Theater which I love! Old seats so no need to stand in long lines choosing what seat to purchase. No recliners but thats what makes it great as the prices are AMAZING. And the staff is usually friendly and helpful. Not crazy about the mall but AMC Theater is right up my alley and the pricing at this theater is beyond feasible!

Most of the stores were closed down and the stores that were still open werent worth the visit. It looks like a ghost town inside. The air conditioning must have been acting up or maybe each store has there own thermostat because you could feel the difference in temperatures depending on which stores you were in. Some stores felt muggy. Wont go back.

The decline of shopping malls over the last decade and half due to online retailers is very, very apparent here. Once vibrant and could barely walk through during holiday season is now empty most of the time. The few people that do show up dont make the place look very inviting. Would only go here if I had no other choice to get the item I needed.

I love coming to this mall when I dont want to deal with the business of the other malls in the area. They have majority of the main stores I need so its great to run in and out. There is a whole section dead but they are trying to work on getting it back to how it use to be about 6 years ago. Cant wait to see what they do in the future.

In truth, it doesnt feel like the safest mall to me. However, the AMC movie theater is as nice as most other theatres. It plays first run movies and only charges $4 every day before 6. The Dillards Clearance Store is absolutely incredible and my favorite place to shop. Lastly, the Cheesesteak place in the food court is phenomenal!

The mall is definitely in need of tlc. Not in the sense that its dirty but more of the sense in need of stores and places people are familiar with. Unfortunately they have a lot of empty spaces and several mom and pop shops. It does offer a movie theater and a play area for children, which in this florida weather is much needed.
