I love this mall. Theres so many cool stores that I can run in and grab everything I need fairly quickly However, that love has forever been tainted and I will never return because of Nails 90 and spa next to Macys. I would give 0 stars if i could. Do not go to this salon! Never in my life have I been so embarassed. I was asked to leave after revealing to the nail tech that I have a latex allergy. Because they did not have any non latex gloves I was informed, in front of all of the other customers who are all staring at this point, that my options were to leave or have the services performed with latex gloves (which obviously isnt an option for me). I was looking to spend a significant amount of money because I needed a full set, a pedicure, and some waxing done. When I questioned it I was told "we can refuse service to anyone, and I refuse to do your work without latex gloves" i will never return to this place because of their blatant disregard for customer service. I was embarassed and refused service over an issue that I have no control over. I hate that one place is preventing me from returning to the mall, but I WILL NOT spend my money anywhere that condones this type of treatment.

Overall the mall is pretty nice. But lets be honest, the name is a lie. A summit is the top of a hill but to get to Summit Mall you actually have to go down a hill on most sides. So really it isnt a summit, it is a mini valley. But when it comes to the mall it has all the things someone would expect. It has rude staff working all the restaurants in the food court, "I have been to a mall since 1992 I know what bourbon chicken tastes like." There are also plenty of those weird carts in the walkway staffed by either 8th grade dropouts that are insulted by your presence when buying things or are staffed by 10th grade drop outs who are to honest to steal from you behind your back so instead they just con you into buying their crappy product just so they leave you alone. The nice thing about the bathrooms is how the urinals are spotless, and based on the pools of urine in front of all all of them it would be safe to say the urinals are the only thing in the bathrooms guaranteed to not have any pee in them.

The Asian Chao place is great. Talk about huge portions! I had a good 2 lbs of food and they threw in an egg roll for free. Paid $5.99 They are so friendly. The Claires here is good for girls. I like the Payless. Not a fan of the dq/Orange Julius. They stop serving ice cream at 8:30. The directory needs updated. I followed it to where it says Regis Hairstylist is. No such place The Dillards Aveda salon was closed both times I went....they closed an hour before the mall does. They always seem to have a sign saying "tomorrow" their store will stay open until the regular time. I guess I get unlucky. Overall this is an okay place to hang out.

tried to set up a easter bunny picture for my family and the summit mall website was not updated nor was their phone service. when I called the security office cause I could not get through to anyone else as to how to set up an appointment if the website was down and nobody is answering my calls so the security guard gives me a number that is not working as well. so I find out where in the mall the photos were being taken and called that department ..which was dillards. the employee who answered was rude and just rushed me off the phone without so much as a im sorry I couldnt help you or anything. very disappointed.

A few stores had leaks and water was running down around the clothes. Some stores I really liked left recently as well due to rent disputes. Lots of unfilled store space and the roof thing bothers me. Water that smells really bad dripping down around brand new clothes people are trying to buy isnt my thing.

Went to food court, ate at the Asian place and my husband and I almost threw up it was so bad!! Plus, I dont have an appreciation for pan handlers. I would like to be able to go the mall and be able to just shop, not be stopped outside by people that need cigarettes . . etc Sorry, probably wont go back!!!

Pretty decent sized mall, my wife and I go here all, and this is a half hour drive, has about everything you need here, and if not, there are Dozens of stores very close by, great and cheap food as well in the food court as well, the hot topic there is bigger than most I myself have been to also.

Mall is amazing. Better then the close by Chapel Hill Mall in so many ways. A few other stores would be liked more, but if your closer to here then the Southpark Mall and dont want to drive there, Summit is a great place for a quiet, and enjoyable shopping experience.

I dont particularly care for malls, but my 7 year old daughter loves looking around. That creates some great quality time for us. Lots of fun shops and treats. Our favorite store is Brookstone where we try all the massage chairs. We also stop at Starbucks of course

Summit Mall has a fancy feel to it. The restaurants are great and the stores are expensive. Of course youre not coming to a mall for a great deal, thats what the internet is for. You come for the ambiance and to be seen. Summit Mall is great for those purposes.

I love this mall; its close to home and the people are friendly here. It even has a brighton boutique, Bareminerals and a wonderful Sephora Beauty Studio and Store.it would be my best bet if I had to choose between this mall and a nicer one a bit further.

Declining mall scene. Store offering over priced goods. Big retailers have almost nothing for sale for normal people. $45-60 shirts!? Get real. Same clothes or brands can be found online and shipped to your house for a fraction of the price at the mall.

This mall is aesthetically pleasing inside. There is a lot of natural light with planters full of healthy plants, and islands of comfortable chairs with charging stations. The stores are staffed with knowledgeable and helpful employees.

For Akron, Summit Mall is nice. But given other malls Ive been to in NEO it still has stepping up to do. It has pretty typical stores. Could utilize outdoor space more. Maybe create some green space and concert/entertainment space.

Lots of stores and has a nice food court. You will be paying a premium on items here compared to outlets like Aurora Farms and Tangier, but theres a good selection of stylish mens and womens clothing. Good place to spend some time.

In the slowly dying world of malls, Summit stands proud and provides everything youd expect from a mall. The restaurants that surround the actual mall are a shining spot. Typical stores and nothing special. Food court is adequate.
