While about the size of one aisle from one of the big-box home improvement stores, this small shop easily makes up for its limited products with expert knowledge and caring staff. Ive never been there when there werent more staff than customers ready to help you find something or explain how best to go about a project and what you might need for it. I would highly recommend stopping in here before heading to another store.

A little higher prices, however the service and knowledge you get from this place is excellent. Its very conveniently located in my neighborhood so a lot of times I just go here instead of making the drive down to Home Depot. I like supporting the small guys too. Their employees just know what theyre doing.

Always friendly and knowledgeable. May be a bit more expensive (not that much though) than the mega-stores but they also carry many specialty items that the larger chains do not. I would choose to do business with this True Value HW over the others big stores any day.

I needed some odd sized washers and bolts, they had the largest selection Ive ever seen. The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeably and friendly. This is a good old fashioned real hardware store with items that youll never find in HD or Lowes.
