Purchased my car a week ago, I have spoken to my original salesman Bryan at least 5 times since then, asking him to send me copies of some documents that I asked for three times when I bought the car, and didnt get. After a few discussions he said he would get copies and send them to me- I still dont have them. I even took a trip back to the dealership to drop off the xtra key to my trade and we spoke about these issues again (the copies and the radio subscription). First I was told to contact him every three months and he would resend the enrollment ... ?wth? These loose ends and the adjustments on my Sirius subscription should have been adjusted/resolved no later than the day after I bought the car when I called him originally. I have wasted SO much time on this - & really dont appreciate it. If you tell someone you are going to do something, then do it. I called again today and was told Bryan was off, I asked to speak to the sales Mgr but instead the call was answered by a young man named Danny Pohl. I was very frustrated by all of this at this point but he asked if he could help. I explained the radio situation to him, he said he could help me with that- he contacted Sirius, resolved the situation, and called me back to tell me everything was ok - start to finish 10 mins. TEN MINUTES!!! THANK YOU DANNY! YOU MADE MY DAY! (I logged into my Sirius site, and we are all set!!) :-) I will evidently never see the signed copies of the documents that Bryan told me I would receive, or the (copy) of the window sticker that I requested from Bryan, which (if I am not mistaken) I am legally supposed to receive when I take delivery of the car. Every car I purchase has it in the window, or folded nicely in the glove box... this had neither. Danny, I cant thank you enough for your time today, and for jumping in to recover this fumble. You are the only bright spot in my purchase transaction there. Update: additional issues have arisen, my rating had to be updated from a 4 to a 1. I found out today that (among so many other things). my trade in loan was NOT paid off, and I have been accruing interest on it since the end of April. I will never buy another car here. August 7: UPDATE !!! And here we go again.... The car is great and I love it---- but I have had nothing but issues with this car purchase from NSBC. The people from the dealership that have contacted me to try to address the various issues (over the last 3mo this since the purchase) were surly and in need a few lessons in customer service. Todays installment of issues is the receipt of a second letter from the company that financed the car, telling me that they STILL have not received my title from NSBC! I called a month ago about the first letter saying the same thing- and NSBC confirmed that everything was fine. Evidently it is still not fine. ... I would not go through another car purchase from New Smyrna Beach Chevy if they were the last dealership in Fla !!

I wish I could give them 0 stars. There is no other way to say it besides they are the worst car dealership I have ever had to deal with. I purchased a used vehicle a couple months ago from them and now I wish I wouldve just made a further drive and bought one somewhere else. Dont let all the "good" reviews get you make a trip here because they beg you to write a good review before leaving the dealership and call you back if you havent to ask that you do. The sales manager I had to deal with is a joke. He tried to make me feel like my trade was worth nothing and they were doing me a favor by giving me $4,000 for it when you can go anywhere and get 4-5 thousand for any trade. I found this car on three different sites for $12,992 and when I went in I didnt try to drop the price but just get $5,000 for my trade after being pre approved for financing before going to the dealership. When we sat down he tried to tell me the car was $14,992 with $2,000 down. He also tried to bring my financing rate from 8% to 14%. I told them not run my credit with anyone else because I am pre approved with capital one and thats who Im going with. I still had to lay out the payment and financing rate for them on paper after going back and fourth 4 times and having to get capital one on the phone. So after spending 6 hours in the dealership dealing with this I was finally able to leave. Two months later I get a letter in the mail telling me they ran my credit with another loan provider. So because of the pushy idiot that didnt listen now my credit score will be impacted more than it should. Also I had a check engine light come on 4 days after buying the vehicle while on a trip. I called and was lied to in the service department about there being any issues with that while they had it for 3 months. So I took it to a repair shop as soon as the light came on and they told me that the parts had just been replaced because they were brand new. Go anywhere else but here this place is nothing but a joke and the only good thing they had going for them was the sales guy they had Clint Jack. Clint Jack deserves 5 stars because he went above and beyond with helping with my purchase. I really wish he worked for a better dealership.

Appointment system online means nothing, so do not bother they will take you as a walk-in. I mention this because two other people with an oil change were in and out before my truck even thought of making a garceful presence on the floor. I was warned that they were two people down: however, two people down means the mechanics can smoke and joke in the cars. One guys was eating a bag of chips, simply kicking rocks. People started complaining when I made a fuss because they couldnt go home. I was told that my truck was simply waiting for a bay; however, there were 6 bays open. I was also told my trucks oil was being drained and that the tires were being rotated. That must have been some other 2014 Silverado that is soaking up Florida sun then. 10 minutes prior to closing, I walk to my truck, just to see if any work was done without my knowledge or what I couldnt see beyond the glass. Nope, still sitting there. Collecting the finite particles of dust. Closing time, we complain to a sales manager since the main manager was off. He goes to talk with the lady Cio, who starts apologizing about it. Other people start to leave. 3 hours later. There are two punctures in my tire, I am told I could still drive it. However, now I get my turn to waste the time. So, I want both of them patched now. Told to call the manager to make it right, onky thing that would be right is paying up for wasting my 3 hours after I had an appointment. Everyone else who misses appointments in the real world has to pay more missed appointments, so should dealerships like Chevy. I have no intentions of coming back here, and I would be a fool if I didnt warn others. This has happened before. Every time there is an excuse. The first few times, I didnt complain because my service was free thanks to warranty and a maintenance plan. But since I get to pay for this now, no holding back on it. Whether at the old dealership or at the new, New Smyrna Chevy needs to give their people a serious reality check and cut their losses. Advice: Hire a veteran NCO from the military to get people working.
