I have just returned home after making a purchase of margarine at this store. I used the self service check out device. I am a white male of age 63 and I was standing in line with only the one item: margarine. A young Hispanic man standing in line behind me had only one item: a bottle of water. Your very young female Hispanic clerk cheerfully greeted the young Hispanic man and escorted him to the front of the line, ahead of me! I certainly hope that I do not need to tell you that I am appalled the Winn Dixie would permit such behavior! I have no idea whether your young Hispanic clerk prefers to serve only young Hispanic males, or hates white people or has issues with older men of any race, but I am irate! This lack of customer appreciation is outrageous; and, this is not the first time such an incident has occurred at your store! Your store managers and associates at this location should be subjected to disciplinary actions and remedial training in customer appreciation and in serving the public! I want you and all the readers of this comment to know that I intend to contact Publix and petition its executives to acquire and open a Publix store in the space in the adjacent shopping center, the space once occupied by Sweet Bay! We Golden Gate area residents deserve to have a grocer that appreciates the business of ALL its shoppers and a choice other that your store!

New manager David Hissey is unprofessional. Very rude to his employees, I was standing right next to him when he began saying negative things about an employee in front of customers and employees, so unprofessionally and plain wrong. Customer in front of me turned around and said "Can you believe this guy?" I left disgusted and will not return to shop ever again if he is still manager. How disappointing! Theres a new Winn Dixie in town and I will be taking my shopping needs there until Corporate WAKES UP and dismisses this clown.

This place sucks busy store three registers open 25 employees walking around with their thumbs up their ass lines down the aisles no one knows where anything is all you no one speaks English one of the crappiest grocery stores Ive been in years I mean todays Winn-Dixie reminds me of yesterdays Piggly Wiggly

very good treatment and excellent care, they just need more employees at cash registers, even weekends there are only one or two open boxes and customers builds up in long rows, is the only market in golden gate city, should resolve this issue .

Interesting layout and nice ambient music. (Fuel perks are a good deal too for W/D cardholders.)
