My name is Cleveland Gray. I have now been a Verizon customer for over 18 years, and I have found their customer service to be the worst of any company I’ve known. The service Ive received from this location in particular is the worst of the worst. This is true for each of my multiple visits (>6 now, unfortunately). Im not able to share all of my negative experiences & poor treatment received from this store due to character limits here, so Ill try to just share some: Reason #1 = Inconvenience (without effort towards convenience) Reason #2 = not accountable for malfunctioning products they sell Reason #3 = employees with either poor customer service training, no customer service training, and lack of integrity This reason is specifically directed towards the employees at the VZ store in Miami Gardens, FL on 57th Ave (Red Road). I work in the Customer Service industry, and it is clear to me that each of the 3-4 employees I’ve dealt with at this store either (1) received no customer service training, (2) received poor customer service training, or (3) are too unintelligent to retain any of their customer service training. They’re apologies have been no existent or insincere. They commonly use language like “it’s not me; that’s just our policy”, “there’s nothing I can do”, and other terms that employees should be trained to avoid in customer service 101. Also, I clearly told the employee who sold me my last phone that I wanted an iPhone 6, and I directly said to him that I did not want a 6S. He then brought me a 6S & applied that to our plan. Shame on me for not looking more carefully to realize it was a 6S he had given me, but I don’t feel I should have to police the VZ employees like that. I believe that employees name was Alfonso, although I am not certain. I also just spoke to a girl this afternoon, Sunday 12/20/15 at 4pm, who was extremely unhelpful & unfriendly. It was clear to me that she was not interested in providing good customer service & simply wanted to get through her shift as easily as she could to collect her hourly wage & go home. After she used the phrases I mentioned above & told me the ridiculous news about having to come back there the next day with the cardboard box & papers or I’d be charged for my exchange, I realized that she was not worth wasting any more of my time. These people are a bunch of SCAM ARTISTS ! I do not recommend for you to purchase anything from this store much less create an account. I was told I had to give a deposit of $ 400 being that I dont have much credit , which I understood and accepted. I purchased the phone and signed the contract ONLY BECAUSE they claimed that after four months of on time payment the security deposit was going to be returned to me. On the four month mark I contacted Verizon Wireless directly through their website and a representative let me know that this was UNTRUE , the account will be reviewed at the ONE YEAR mark and they will decide then if then if I am eligible for returning the deposit. I find the act of lying despicable , no wonder the store is empty all the time because if these people lie about such a serious matter I imagine what else they dont lie about. If they would have told me from the get go about the policy I would have still signed the contract , I dont understand the need they have of lying if at the end of the day the client will find out the truth and they will loose.

This is Barbara Jordan I just like to take this time to really compliment the staff at the Verizon store on the corner of 57th Avenue and 100 and 83rd Street they have been magnificent I want to compliment Michael John and Brandon they have taken a number of hours and they have tremendous patience and working with me today to make sure that my phone service was activated that all of my information was transferred and I have to say that I dont have the patience that they had to deal with me so you have a wonderful staff here and I cant say enough about them theyre very professional very knowledgeable and they accomplished their job in a very satisfying manner without even letting me know with a hint of impatience that they were tired of me cause I would have been tired of me so thank you again Verizon and thanks to John Brandon and Michael.

The sales rep Armand and his accompanying mangers gave terrible service, I was promised my phone would work everywhere, unfortunately it didnt work well in any of the places i needed. When i complained they said "Verizon does not guarantee indoor coverage". They wanted me to pay restocking fees for something that did not work. What i am truly upset about is this is something they could have fixed and CHOSE not to. I called Verizon corporate and they credited me back in 5 mins, and said the managers could have done the same at the store. I recommend going to another Verizon where the Reps respect your time and keep their word.

Excellent service. Diana Urbina was extremely knowledgeable. It was this attribute combined with her professional demeaner that made decide this was the store I will come to. She even went above and beyond the the call the duty by demonstrating to me how to save battery life and certain features. I am over fifty and needless to say I am not computer savy. She made me feel empowered not incompetant. I loved the store experience.

I came in looking to upgrade my device. Brandon really assisted me with every question and concern I had. He was very helpful when it came to picking the right device for me. He even went out of his way to make sure all the contents transferred from the old phone to the new one. I was in and one out the store quick. I highly recommend coming here for all your phone needs. Omg! John & Kevin were sooooo awesome! I walked in just to get a charger & I walked out with FREE promotions. I received a FREE tablet, FREE Hun & FREE JetPack .... BONUS: Discount on charger, friendly customer service & both salesman are very easy to talk to... It was like talking to long time friends... When I return to the Verizon store, I totally want them to be my salesman

I went to this store to set up a new line of service and purchase a iPhone a few months ago. The salesman told me a credit check was required and I had to put a 700 dollar deposit, plus the price of the phone. I immediately left. Drove to the pembeoke pines store and didnt have to out anything Down. SCAM ARTIST!!! Verizon shouldnt let them be an authorized retailer
