The food is literally AMAZING. Its a great place to study, and they do have a bar. It is a really chill environment and you need to try all the food. I worked here for almost a year so I know all about the food and juices. They make the best chicken salad EVER. They literally make it from scratch. Also the juices are great, I suggest a detox shot if youre feeling under the weather or want to speed up your metabolism. You MUST try the Mango Mania smoothie. They also hand-make all the croissants, cinnamon rolls, cookies, loafs, ruggelagh, empanadas, macaroons, apple turnovers, etc. The make great cortaditos and coladas. Sometimes they do run out of certain items, but thats because we have a limited supply and once we run out we have to wait till the stock the next day. Its not starbucks its homier than that. Everyone in the kitchen works really hard its a wonderful staff and they do care about quality and presentation. FOH are wonderful too, they work hard and sometimes customers arent that great, so show them some love. They are also well sized portions, great for leftovers. The only downside are the prices. A few things are super overpriced. I think thats mostly due to it being a small locally owned business, they must meet the expenses ! So support your local businesses, so that they stay open. This a great place to come! On the bookstore side, theyre really great and friendly too, and will help you right away sometimes you just have to give them a holler because theyre stocking or putting books back.

Hateful management treating local regular customers like trash, incompetent staff that is rude, incredibly unhelpful, and uninterested. Awful WiFi and when you ask them to reboot (which is everyday if not multiple times a day) they are not only rude but lie to your face. They close the doors early with no warning, force customers from their seats for a book club or some childrens function with about 5 minutes of warning, with as loud as they play the music youd think youre in a club not a bookstore (I use that term loosely as they have one of the worst selections ever) and when you ask them to turn it down the staff (all young, tattooed, pierced and unprofessional) will get huffy and turn it down slightly for about 30min before it is again being pumped through the speakers (often loud enough to rattle the windows) They repeatedly get orders wrong and will without asking or telling you substitute ingredients that they are out of for others, youd think for as expensive as they are the food would be of better quality but even my "organic" hamburger patty tasted, looked, and felt like a meatball from somewhere cheap like subway.

Such a great place! The staff here are so friendly and helpful. They all seem like they are partial owners because they take so much prude and attention into their customers (maybe they are... Im not sure). The front of the store has tables and booths where people read, chat, work and study. They have a monthly book club and local author events. They serve coffee roasted in key west, pastries, salads, sandwiches.... Great place to spend an afternoon. Now Im going to quit procrastinating and start studying as Im currently one of those people sitting at a table with books and coffee!

Fun and decent little cafe atmosphere. Good to relax a bit. Food is decent. However, Ive been a regular customer (2-3 times a week) for a few weeks now and the other day I did not have extra cash for a tip on a 5 dollar empanada...20 minutes later I got my empanada (That was ready from the moment I paid) and a dirty look from the young lady serving it. I mean comon..when youre a regular you make up for it next time and Ive always tipped 30%. Will be a while before I go back is all they care about is a 1 dollar tip on an empanada. Tis a shame.

Great little book store, would strongly recommend going there if you want to see a middle aged woman yell at under payed workers in front of customers. You honestly shouldnt own a business if you are going to treat your employees like that for making minor mistakes. I was embarrassed just watching that and will not be supporting an establishment that treats its employees like that, even Walmart doesnt scold employees like a high school babysitter yelling at bad children.

I really wanted to love this place, because Ive been looking for a good independent bookstore since moving out here, like the ones back in LA. To call this a bookstore, however, is a bit of a stretch. Their selection is awfully limited, unfortunately. Only positive is I stumbled upon a Bukowski book Id not seen before - On Cats. Im sure Ill give it another shot as Im often in the area, either having Indian across the street or at the movies.

This is a yuppie hellhole. Its a place for people who pretend they read but dont, so youll find a lot of trendy, very overpriced books, and stuff for rich peoples coffee tables or books that yuppies leave around to pretend they are reading the next cool thing. The food is decent but overpriced. Coffees good though.

Its so rare to see a bookstore anymore. This place is very nice. The food and drink selection is extensive I would not recommend the iced coffee. Everything else people were eating looked quite good though! Great place to meet up with a friend

Ecclectic, relaxed setting to grab a bite. Dont come in an indecisive mood, the menu is vast to say the least. The veggie burger was delicious. Many coffee/juice and bakery items as well, in addition to the salads, sandwiches, bowls, and plates.
