I just joined Google+ to write a review for Miami Imports. I live in the mid-atlantic, and searched AutoTrader for a Volkswagen Touareg. Miami Imports had a very low mileage car that appeared to be in clean condition. The price was very fair. I called up and got Victor (believe that he is the owner). Victor is very direct. He is confident about his inventory/prices, and knows the market well. I asked for a carfax report, and he emailed it within minutes. He also told me that the vehicle was very clean. I had done a lot of research on the make/model, and knew that this particular model was well-optioned, low mileage, and priced fairly. My main concern was that I wouldnt be able to see the vehicle in person unless I flew to Miami. I called Victor the next day and explained that I liked the vehicle but that I was concerned about not being able to see/drive the vehicle before making a purchase. I also had some specific questions about the vehicles history and condition. Victor was adamant that it was clean, and offered to go outside and do a detailed walk-around for me, with me on the phone. Normally, this would not provide much reassurance because the dealer has incentive to embellish the vehicles condition. However, from my communications with Victor, I trusted him. I asked Victor to put himself in my shoes and please tell me about all the things he would factor in if he were purchasing the vehicle for himself. Victor did exactly that. He went outside and closely walked around the truck, inspecting the exterior and interior. He told me about a very minor scratch, some curb rash, and some wrinkled leather in the armrest. He texted me pictures of everything. Victor also told me that the vehicle drove beautifully (from his prior drives). Victor crawled underneath the vehicle (it was on low lifts) to inspect and text pictures of the underside. Bottom line is that Victor told me he would not sell me a bad car, and reassured me that I would be happy with the condition. He also told me that he would have someone work on polishing out the curb rash (this came out beautifully). We came to terms on the price later that day (he moved very little, but from research, I was confident that this was a fair price). Victor also connected me with a great auto transport company to deliver the truck to the mid-atlantic region. Throughout the entire process, Victor was extremely accessible. I could text, call, or email whenever and he would always get back quickly. On top of that, he would contact me to see how things were progressing. The vehicle was delivered within one week of purchase, and it came exactly as described. There were only two issues with the vehicle that had not been specifically discussed prior to purchase: The ESP/Hill Descent warning light came on shortly after purchase. It was due to a bad sensor. I believe that this may have manifested itself as a result of the delivery truck angle. I replaced sensor, and while in the shop, my mechanic confirmed that it was a clean vehicle. The only other issue with the car is that many of the soft-touch buttons on the interior peeled. This is a very common, well documented problem with this and other vehicles from the same era. Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, GM, and other manufactures have since stopped using the coating. I love the truck and it gets compliments all the time. Would absolutely purchase another vehicle from Victor, and will encourage family and friends to do the same.

In my experience in dealing with whomever, never even knew the guys name nor do I want to. I will explain my experience. This out of all the vehicles I have bought was the most and worst purchase I have ever experienced. Whomever I spoke with was completely rude, until he realized I had cash ready to go and I needed to purchase the vehicle. The 1st time we spoke on the phone he called me a liar which I thought was insane. I explained I wanted to pay for a vehicle to be shipped to test drive and inspect the vehicle which I have done in the past because I currently live in a different state. He said this is impossible which it is not, in my opinion money talks and I did pay for a vehicle to be shipped and did test drive it. Either way this goes on further, once I hung up on him and explained his customer service was horrible he then apologized and began asking what I needed help with. I explained I wanted a BMW he had on his lot and we began the paperwork. In the disclaimer it was said that there was a "backup" camera which I asked if it had, I was told yes. Once I received the vehicle there was no "backup" camera to be found, then as he claimed and told me several times before I purchased that the car was "perfect" I finally received the car and it was not perfect. As I said there was no backup camera and come to find out that the tires were overinflated. I also found there is 2 different types of tires which is my fault for not reading in his "description". Then all tires were over-inflated and my back passenger tire also had a patch in it. In my opinion I would not sell the car without telling someone these things, its one thing to have different tires but another to not tell the person what is wrong with them. He claims that the patch is no big deal but according to other people who have looked at the vehicle they stated the tire ware is damaging and permanent at this point. Also that the patch was done improperly and could lead to a blow out on the road. This car is for my mother and I do not intend to be the cause of a possible deadly accident... When I confronted the so called Owner which is the main person I had been dealing with, he stated that hes not responsible and basically said its not my problem nor do I care that your tires which he called perfect are all bad. Also if you look at the pictures the tires look fine but in reality they are not. So overall I explained that I want nothing else to do with him nor his so called "dealership". He will not ruin my out-of-state buying experience because not everyone is out to just get money such as this guy. That is how I feel I was treated, just a dollar sign. This was my experience and this is what happened to me, I am sharing this not in the intentions to hurt the business but for buyers to be aware, especially out of state. I personally will never recommend or shop at this dealer again based on my experience. Once again this is my story, and I am not slandering nor did I have the intent to slander the business. I made my opinion voiced and experience with this company.

I was looking for either a BMW 6 or 7 series for my wife, Im very much a car enthusiast and I needed to find that 1 cherry machine, I looked all over the country for the proper car and found a few of them that I put on my short list. I found a total of 3 cars that met my expectations however since I have not financed anything in several years I did not realize that I had several errors on my credit report thus causing me to be a very high credit risk. I applied for credit at 3 different dealers in 3 different parts of the United States, then from 2 of the dealers they told me I would need to put 5k or even 10k down payment and then have almost $1000.00 per month payments, I sent my info to Vic and Mike and it was not even a half hour later Vic sends me a text asking if 4k down and 60 payments of $535.00 would be within my budget, I was so excited to hear that I could get my wife the car she wanted, but then the skeptisizm of the deal set in and I started thinking this could not be true. Then Vic tells me to send him $1000.00 non refundable deposit to hold the car as he had 3 other people wanting this car, Now I really start feeling like this could be a scam, so I finally decide to take a leap of faith and send western union them $500.00 to hold the car until I could get to Florida for inspection. Upon my arrival to the dealership I was amazed, the car was better than described, Vic and Mike were just awesome human beings and they even with out my knowledge negotiated with the lender to save me $1000.00 from my down payment so I left the dealership with a stunning machine, $1000.00 more than I expected in my pocket, a happy wife, and a big smile on my face. These guys are amazing, they under promised and over delivered and I can Not wait until they find me my next car wich will be a 2010 750Li. Mike and Vic if you see this review I hope you know, I mean every word of it. I came to Miami in search of the perfect car and I left with that car and 2 new buddies (Vic and Mike) We lova ya Amigos
