I have a background and degree in hospitality and I must say that everything about my experience at Buchwalds was exceptional. I was passed my grandfathers golden bracelet and was looking for a jeweler to melt that down into two weeding bands as my fiancée and I are getting married in October. Marty helped us pick out the style of ring we wanted and gave us an estimate on the labor. Marty mentioned that he would call me the following Monday (around 1pm I think he said) and confirm a price and whether or not the amount of gold could make two rings. Like any genuine businessman, he followed through and called me before 1pm on that day. Total time from first visit to final product = 7 days. When we picked up the rings, Joe gave us a warm welcome and ensured our rings fit exactly how we wanted. Jeff gave our rings a little stretch to make them fit perfectly. Both gentlemen sent us off with a smile and a feeling that our experience was worth far more than the price we paid. I now know that a piece of my grandfathers life will travel with me as I live mine. Buchwalds is the real deal-- a high level of service and exceptional value.

The place is nice. But the customer service is horrible. The staff likes to tease people. They would pre-judge people by how they dress before they say anything to you. They would always say things to customer like they are not high class enough to deserve their jewelry. Especially Randy, she talked to me like I was nobody. I just refused she offer politely afterward.I am sure the company is a good one. But the staff would keep me away from them. Nobody would like to be treated like that. If that was a self-service jewelry store, I would recommend it to everybody. Hope the company can see this comment and do something about it. So far, not planning to go back ever. Good luck for those who got a good customer service.

Very pleased with service from the team. From the moment my (now) husband and I entered the store to look for wedding bands, the entire team were quick to build rapport and show professionalism. I was devastated a couple of weeks later when there was a problem with my wedding band. Knowing how many companies are, I thought the worst. However, the company stayed true to their values on maintaining satisfaction and reputation. When we called and explained what had happened, Joe "the jelwer" was great. They fixed my ring in incredible time and really impressed my husband and I. Totally just became a lifelong customer now.

I love this store but more specifically Joe. He is well versed with jewelry, the inventory and is respectful to your choices. Many jewelry sales people are pushy and want to upswell. Joe hears what you want and helps you find just the right thing at the best price around. His bosses should promote him to Joe the King of Jewelry.

I happened upon this store and what a find! They have a great selection of diamond and gold jewelry. Watch selection was plentiful as well. They were well informed and provided me with the information I needed to make a smart diamond purchase. I would have no qualms about going back to them or recommending to my friends.

Be careful with Buchwald They tell you the diamonds are a great investment One piece I bought for around $80,000 was a good example I asked if they would buy the piece back and was offered around half the price and they questioned the quality of one of the large stones. They sold me the piece with that stone in it! Not nice

They have the best selection in rolex watches I have seen and I am considering purchasing one of them for my husband in Christmas. My now husband, bought my engagement ring here and I bring it in once in a while for a cleaning; they do a great job. Highly recommend for your jewelry needs!

rude staff. judge you when you walk in. they think its still NYC back in the 40s. There prices are no better than the next vendor in the Seybold building. If you want to pay "market price" go somewhere that you get great service and a smile.

Would give zero stars if I could. They sold me a Ring less than a month ago, and would not return it for the full value. People are better going to Zales and Macys at least they have a 60 day return policy.
