When I received my vehicle after getting the outside door handle fixed I noticed that the inside door handle wasnt secured properly. I brought it to the attention of Hugo Nunez (who has been who Ive dealt with always). He told me that he did not inspect the door handle and said it came that way. I told him that my vehicle did not come in that way. He said that those types of things happen. I told him again I did not bring my car in with a loose inside door handle. I proceeded to tell him that it was in the same shape as that of my front passenger side. We walked over to that and he said ok, its on snug. He then opened the back passenger door and said you see these are different from the two up front. I explained that I was talking about the front passenger. Then I expressed one more time that I did not bring my vehicle in with a broken inside door handle and that if he didnt remedy it I would leave and never come back to the Doral Autonation. That I have been a loyal customer since I bought the vehicle and that there was only a handful of times that I got an oil change at another Autonation. He said let me take you vehicle back and I gave him the keys. He then proceeded to take it back to the repair area. After waiting 30 minutes he comes back and asks me to follow him to the repair area. I did and he stopped at a white Tahoe and opened the door. He said you see these things happen because of heat. I told him thats nice but my car did not come in that condition. We walked to my vehicle and he showed me the inside of my side panel and said there arent any screws and we do not need to grab your handle to take off the panel Again I said my car did not come in with a broken inside door handle. He said well listen, these door panels cost $600 but I can get you one for $350 and then the problem will be fixed. I said you cant be serious, your guys break my door handle and now you want me to pay for you to put a new one on in order to fix it? No, this game is over. Put my door panel on and Im leaving. I will never come back to this place. As a matter of fact I just bought the weather guard floor mats and I want my money back. I dont want anything to do with this dealership He said ok and I went to get my money back. After 10 minutes he brought my car over and handed me my keys. He said Im sorry bro. I said go bye and I left. I will NEVER go back to that dealership again. I have been a loyal customer and have driven 45 minutes to have 99% of my services there for what? To have them damage my vehicle and then try and have me pay to fix their damages? No way. As a matter of fact I am now in the market for a new vehicle and looked at newer Tahoes there but I will have to look elsewhere.

Purchased vehicle here in 2010 and paid for 2 years of oil changes. Everything went smooth until recently. Back on May 2, 2014 brought car in because experienced slow acceleration. After explaining problem to service advisor Hugo O Nunez he immediately informed me the car needed a Complete Fuel System Clean and Throttle Body Service for $289.95 without first having the mechanic inspect the vehicle. After the vehicle was taken into the mechanics bay he next tells me that 4 spark plugs have to be replaced for $189.95. When I asked him to not perform the Fuel System Cleaning he informed me that it already had been done and the car needed the spark plugs replaced to solve my acceleration problem. When I told him that the problem was the spark plugs all along he told me that in any event the car needed a fuel system cleaning and flush in conjunction with replacing the spark plugs to run optimally. Incident#2. Brought car in for oil change and tire rotation on January 24, 2016 and when arrived home noticed tires werent rotated since they were marked to let me know the job was performed. Went home and markings were on same position in tires. Also, decided to open hood because of this finding and noticed oil was overfilled to past the full mark on dipstick and oil spilled all over motor cover. Mechanic: Teddy Amador. Didnt file complaint because would be hard to prove once leaving dealership. Incident#3: On April 16, had appointment with Service Advisor Hugo Nunez for tire rotation and to replace stripped stud on wheel. After waiting 2 1/2 hours on a slow Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. was told the cost to replace the bolt would be $380. Are you kidding me. Dont they realize that todays consumers are more educated with regard to pricing and scams and after researching the cost online the night before, the most anyone should pay to have one bolt replaced is $150 for a compact car. I mean you were removing the tire anyway as part of the rotation and then give me a bullshit story of the tremendous amount of labor involved to justify the cost?! Mr. Nunez proceeded to tell mechanic to just rotate tires. What were you doing the 2 1/2 hours I was sitting there on a slow Sunday morning? $166.19 labor charge to change 4 $5.94 spark plugs? $370 labor charge to replace $10 bolt, which should take more than 30 minutes? Labor hours should accrue for actual time working on car and not for time spent waiting on parts to arrive or sitting around eating lunch. I understand dealerships need to make a profit, but Cmon man tis is ridiculous. No bueno!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We should be able to bring down the star rating to show a (-)negative. I took in my car, explained the code that the computer gave for the check engine light, they completely dismissed me, changed my battery (double the price same battery cost anywhere else) instead, and, supposedly downloaded a program to reset and update the software system in the car (fictitious explanation if I ever hear one) I called Chevy directly and they were baffled at the explanation and opened a case for payment assistance in good faith, the info was forwarded to Oliver and Alexia and neither one had the decency to forward or leave instruction to the cashier. I arrive at the dealer to pick up my car no one knows what happened with Oliver or Alexia, so cashier finds a Service Consultant to assist me (Mr. Brito), he had yelled out my name and proceeded to yell at me in front of staff/customer/ and my child "Maam you do understand this is an invoice and if you want to take your car you must pay or come back when you can pay for it, So what are you planning on doing today?" This idiot had obviously no idea what the situation was, so in order to avoid further embarrassment and ridicule I paid with a credit card $500 for new battery and oil change, ah and the infamous software update. Get into my car and the check engine light was still on!!! Hugo came out and took care of it in less than 15 mins, he finally had the sensor that was giving the error that I specified in the beginning changed and tried playing it off as if he were doing me a favor, made me sign the work order and walked off with paper work telling he could give me a copy because it was a favor! Tires: you need your tires changed, my service consultant keeps following up if I am interested in my tires, and it is always the same result: I provided him with prices from three other sources and emailed it to him and hes supposed to price match, so every call ends with "I will look into it and call you with a result" still waiting. On their quote for the tire install they have a $199.99 charge for "Premium Install Package" and every time you ask he cant give a straight answer. I finally found out it is for balance and rotation (only) for the life time of tire; this is outrageous since in Walmart they only charge $9.00(being the least expensive I found) and I believe Firestone charges $69 (the most expensive). This whole dept ethics is just outrageous!!
