i came in looking to pay cash for a car i saw on your internet site- when i saw the car it was not at all what i was looking for. i talked to Danny Gonzalez who had just started working there, he showed me a 2008 ford Taurus(which is my favorite car) i told him dont show me a car i cant afford. well we took it for a test drive, then went to speak to the finance adviser-- i explained that i was recently divorced, laid off my job, ended up filing bankruptcy--due to ex-husbands bills i ended up having to pay-- anyway i did have steady income, my full retirement. to my surprise and delight-- i got financed-- yes the interest rate is a bit high, but i got financed-- and am rebuilding my credit-- i drove my beautiful new used car home with me that night. well i got her home and noticed the electronic displays were not right, didnt have the code for the electronic door entry, and it was making some really weird clicking sound through the a/c. i called Danny up the next day, he made an appt for me with the service dept-my car was gone over with a fine tooth comb,i was given a rental car-- and no charge to me-- what better service could anyone ask for-- then, the next month, (i had made 1 payment) i was hit and the entire drivers side of my car was destroyed-- it was not my fault--it ended up the vehicle which was owned by a local business had no insurance, the driver did have insurance, that insurance was to cover the almost 5000.00 in damages,, since everyone was so wonderful to me, i wanted to only have Gus Machado ford do my body work- that is the least i could do to try to repay the kindness shown to me-- The folks in the body department are wonderful,, so nice, always available to help and coordinate with the insurance company-- Well the day i was to pick up my car, i got a call from the body dept telling me the drivers insurance company, after authorizing the repairs is now not willing to pay,, so my car is now held hostage!! well i called my insurance company, filed the claim, borrowed the money from my dad to get my car,,and had my insurance company repay me. it was perfect!! there is no way you could ever tell my car was in an accident,,, i have had the opportunity of course to take my car for oil changes, tires, basic things, to other places, but no way,, i had previously dealt with Ruben, who is no longer there, but i have met mike-- what a great guy!! he makes you feel happy to be there-- explains what is going on with my car, and if something is found wrong or worn he explains the pros and cons of what is going on with the vehicle. his personality is a plus, when i call for service, he always remembers me and my car and knows exactly what it needs and when it needs it.. i also have an f350 diesel dually-- guess what,, it now comes to see mike too!! yes, coming to the dealership is a bit more expensive, but i know i am backed by ford, and the job is done right the first time.

Went to the dealer with my dad to check out some possible cars to replace our Ford Focus (Hoping for a newer model). Had a complaint with the model we had having a sort of jerky movement when switching gears, which apparently is just a common trait in that model. Either way, we brought some appraisal letter from the company stating what the price of the car would be traded in, they took the letter and said they "lost" it. Then dropped the estimation price of the car drastically. Mind you this was after we were test driving a car. Now Im Hispanic, my dad is technically my Step-Father, hes not Hispanic at all. So were sitting in the car having small talk and bring up where the dealer is from and mentions being from Arizona and how hard it was getting work there. Which I guess at that point forgets Im sitting in the back seat and says, "Yea they either need to build a wall or start shooting." I dont say anything, heard the brakes screech, but it wasnt the car, it was him trying to backtrack quickly after looking at the side mirror and seeing me. I didnt realize there was an epidemic of illegal immigrants starting up car dealerships (thats sarcasm). I guess one doesnt need more than a high school diploma to sell cars, and would explain what happened to Happy Lowman at the end of the book "Death of a salesman." Any how, after all was said and done the guy is exchanging pleasantries trying to say goodbye to my Dad and I, which I quickly inject a, "Dont shoot me now." I think Ill be happy when companies like Tesla start taking sales directly to the customers rather than the human garbage that scurry around car lots. Traded the Ford Focus in for a Jeep instead and got a much better deal and better car. Who wouldve guessed Machado wasnt a Hispanic name.
