My daughter had an unpleasant experience trying to apply for a job at this location. She followed all the instructions given to her by the manager, Sue, and she arrived early to the first day of orientation. My daughter had all the paperwork filled out, the correct uniform purchased and worn. The only set back was that my daughter was told to bring her SS number with her. My daughter did in fact bring the SS number with her but it was not an original document. Sue told her she had to drive back home and bring back the original document or she would not be able to do the orientation. It was 2:15pm and Sue told my daughter she had to be back by 3:pm. It takes 25 minutes for my daughter to get back to the house and then she had to find the original document and then attempt to drive back to Costco to be there no later than 3pm. I feel that was a very irresponsible request made on Sue, the managers part. So my daughter once she found the original document, called Sue and declined the job because should would not have been able to get back to Costco on time for 3pm,which meant that my daughter would have to speed to get home and speed to get back. I truly feel that Sue is an irresponsible hiring manager. I will be communicating to Corporate about this matter. She is not an asset to Costco.

My service animal and I were denied entrance at this location. A large, older, white male first yelled after us as we passed through the entrance saying my dog couldnt be in there. He physically blocked my cart. Then he yelled for Donna who asked for my animals purpose and a demonstration. I refused and she said he was not welcome because their location has had problems with dogs attacking in the past. She gave me a corporate email to file a complaint. I offered her his registry information and she said "I dont care about any card." Due to the scene she was creating and the number of employees that felt the need to surround and hover over us, I left before I had an attack. I left the store and went to the West Palm location. I saw 2 small purse dogs while in there (photo below was while standing in line) and the manager I spoke with at that location informed me that the woman was wrong and denying service animals is not costcos policy. I knew white america is becoming a growing problem in certain areas of our country, but wow. I would hope costco would be better than hiring those types. Shameful.

I have been shopping at Costco for decades. This warehouse insist that for my protection, I have give the cashier my debit card. I gave the cashier my membership card with my picture on it, placed my debit card in the reader, typed in my PIN, and received an authorization from my bank. Yet they insisted that I give the cahier my card to prove it is mine. As far as I know Costco is not in the business of debit card security monitoring. I actually prefer to limit the number of people who have access to my card - To me, limiting access to my bank card, especially to individuals who may have access to additional personal information, trumps any intangible identity protection this warehouse purports to offer customers. One manager actually voided my purchase. I respect Costcos rights to check and confirm membership by inspecting Costco-issued membership cards. I cannot fathom any justification for demanding my debit card. There is something inherently wrong with paying annual fees to be subjected to this type of treatment.

Paula the bakery manager is great and was very attentive to me as a customer, however my experience at this Costco has been disappointing in general. Many of the staff are rude and condescending, and this is most apparent when you reach the checkout. Not always, but sometimes when you ask staff a question they answer like the know the answer, but twice I have heard "we dont carry that anymore" only to see the product there again on my next visit. It is kind of a "go away and leave me alone" answer. Courtesy is easy and free. I have had another issue here relating to food quality and having something in my rotisserie chicken that should not have been there. I ended up getting a call from one of their SE division buyers (as I recall). I was completely unsatisfied with the way it was handled. I would not want to post an image of what I found, but I still have the images and correspondence.

Costco is now like a Sams club...(and we all now that sucks). Yesterday at this location I waited in a long line to return a $29.95 dollar item. A Tommy Bahama beach chair that was broken. After looking up the item to verify that I did indeed purchase this item, (and at this location), the clerk handed me a Costco Cash Card. NEVER before has this happened. Every return in the past was credited back to my Costco Visa, (previously American Express). When I questioned this, she replied "without a receipt we can only issue store credit". WTF??? This is what Sams club is now pulling. It is insulting and wrong to claim "without a receipt" as Costco has a record of the purchase..including, time, date, how paid, and probably a video of me making the purchase. Unbelievable Costco. Additionally, this location never has enough cashiers, always long waits to check out.

Do not buy cell phones at costco! Do not insure your phones through costco(Squaretrade)! They will continue to screw you over as bad as verizon or AT&T. Went through two replacement phones both broken and now Im at the point were we are getting screwed over and Costco WILL NOT HELP AT ALL!!! First phone came with a faulty sim card, WOULD NOT CONNECT to verizon network at all, okay send it back get another, SURPRISE comes with a crack half way down the screen and with little to no Bluetooth and Wi-Fi range for the phone. Now at Costco as I write this being told they can and will not do anything more, after being told by the Manager Tony that we would be helped. Lies, Horrible service, and terrible products and services being offered by the Costco name, this is a disgrace to Costco and would have never thought to have been treated this way here as well.

Not just minorities! I appear white but I have had either GREAT or awful service here. I think they deal with a lot of people who are in town visiting and want to use something and return it. An employee there said that someone returned a nasty, used grill, for example (and he was one of the cheerful, helpful people in the store). I can see why that would be crazy irritating and yet some of the employees are still nice, polite, and helpful. The guy in televisions recommended the cheaper model when we were trying to decide between two choices. We are totally happy with the tv he recommended. I love Costco in general!!

Really racist Costco. Shortly after becoming a member, ahold was placed on my account such that I could not use Self Checkout simply because I was not allowed to use checks. When I asked why that hold was placed they said and I quote "we do not know your financial situation and you could potentially give a check without funds". I was shocked at the level of customer service. Who in their right mind do they think they are to doubt my financial status and not to mention that giving a check without funds is fraudulent and a federal crime. Avoid this Costco at all costs if you have the slightest pigmentation in your skin.
