This is specifically about the Verizon Kiosk that is located in this BJs location. If you want to loose all sanity and go completely nuts - then use this location. I called this facility and asked them what deals they had on buying three iPhones 4s because I was switching from Sprint. On the phone they offered the 4ss for $50 each and the iPhone 4 for free. They also offered free activation and a $50 rebate for each number transferred from another provider. They affirmed that information 1 hour later when I made it to their kiosk. They also assured me that I could get the service discount on my wifes place of employment even with the account in my name. (wife was not with me). I ordered 2 iPhone 4ss and one iPhone 4 and was told they would be in by Tuesday. (this was Saturday) When I called on Wednesday - they said they would be in by the end of the week. On Thursday, I called and they told me there was a problem and they would not be in until the following Tuesday. I, in the main time had discovered that the account had to be in wifes name to get discount. On that Tuesday I went in (with wife to change acct) to pick up the phones and was told the $50 rebate did not apply to the iPhones. ($150 rebate I suddenly was not getting) We decided at that point to continue transaction anyway and "transferred acct into my wifes name. Problem: following day discovered it had never gotten transferred. So, in short - a transaction that should have taken 2 business days - has so far taken two week, cost an additional $150 dollars and untold time on the phone trying to get everything else corrected. WANT TO GO INSANE? USE THIS VERIZON KIOSK!

Ive been a member here for nearly 3 years now and routinely come here on a weekly basis. This BJs is located near other grocery stores so I can make my bulk purchases here and buy other non-bulk items at the other stores. I routinely buy the pre-mixed salads because they are significantly cheaper than and I go through 2 - 3 packs a week (saving around $1.50 per pack adds up over a year). The gasoline here is also priced better than the regular gas stations. They offer special in store coupons and mail a monthly coupon book to the members as well. With that said, there are some things that cause significant headache. 1. There is never enough parking. Ill often park far away just so I dont waste time circling the lot for a spot 2. "Hours of operation" seem to be a suggestion. On more than 1 occasion, Ill come in around 8:10 pm and the person at the door will tell me theyre closed (even though posted hours say 8:30). I have to negotiate with them and tell them Im just there to pick up 1 or 2 items before theyll let me in. Most places allow customers to come in up until they close, not BJs, they want to make sure everyone is out by their closing time. 3. Food court, the food prices keep going up while the quality keeps going down. Would avoid the food if possible.

The new location is terrible, the traffic is crazy and the location is just difficult to get to. Getting to the location requires either U-turns or driving a half mile out of the way only to double back, a nightmare for customers. The parking lot is a joke with not nearly enough spaces to handle the number of vehicles. Ingress and egress to the store is very poor and there is always a mob of people blocking the exit creating a safety hazard. The store lacks an automotive and tire department, both were available with the old location at Colvin Blvd. The prices are good but no better than other retailers in the area, on top of that the yearly dues is excessive. Shopping at BJs is just not worth the effort now, I will not renew my membership. This store location is not recommended, Ive been a BJs member for almost 20 years.

This new location is hit or miss. You will go in and pickup one thing and the next time youre there they no longer carry it. Or they cant keep up with restocking the shelves. The parking lot is absolutely horrible! There may be enough parking for the employees, but not enough for the customers. Its sad that Bjs didnt do there homework before moving this store to this horrible location.

The parking is disaster and entrance configuration is dangerous. Why they moved from Tonawanda is beyond me where space and convenience was ideal. The gas pumps in Tonawanda were in a non conflicting traffic pattern, whereas here in Amherst youve got to watch on all sides; also automotive accessories and tools as well as propane no longer available when they moved to Amherst.

I was just at this location when I was turned away at 8:20 from entering the store for a quick purchase. I work 12 hour days. I am beyond furious. I have never complained about a businesses hours of operatio, but 8:30 is a terrible bed time for the hard working families in your community.

This store is a necessary evil for me, they moved this location to here a couple of years ago and it has really gone down hill. They stock fewer items and completely eliminated their tire center, the parking lot is a nightmare and almost always overcrowded. I much prefer Sams Club.

Mostly great deals. We normally get the same 10 or so items each week.... and some of it has gone WAY up on price (example bagged spinach) . The Colvin location was much, much better. This parking lot is to tight and way too small. They should have never moved.

I liked shopping at Colvin WAY better. Who ever designed the front entrance to be on the right corner of the building where the parking is the worst should be fired. Take a shut down and move your front entrance...jeez

The parking is horrible. Horrible location. This low rating doesnt reflect my opinion of the people working there or the goods they sell. I was so turned off by the location that Ive vowed to never return.

Went to go buy a large TV the other day, they helped me bring it to my car and everything went well. Had the TV about $60 cheaper than everywhere else. Only pain is having to have a BJs membership card.

Worst place to shop. Waited 10 mins for cold cuts and finally left with out because only 1 person working washing dishes in the back was more important than sales. Please Costco come to buffalo

I like the layout of the store. And it has a good variety of items like Costco but you have to get there early because its in a shopping Plaza which gets crowded after 11am.

A typical warehouse store, a good many notches below COSTCO. Their parking is miserable at this very tight location, however, and everyone knows it. Dumb location really.

Bad parking situation-the store should have gone into the old computer place that was located down closer to their gas pumps.

This BJs never has anything. Its small and the parking lot is a death trap. They should have never relocated to this site.

Good prices and selection. Whoever gave the go ahead on the placement of the front door and the parking lot didnt think.
