This New Balance store is a complete rip-off. They overprice their shoes way above other stores like Dicks Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, and Academy Sports. The only good thing about this store is that they put the shoe on for you (which you pay for by paying for overpriced shoes). They are way overstaffed with like 8 employees for a small tiny store and they will lie to your face. They will change around prices, to get the most money out of you. I went to the store before Black Friday and they said they will have a sale on Black Friday with 25% off, so I decided to come back then to buy shoes. When I came back, the shoes were the same price, they just bumped the original price to make the sale price look good. I say again, COMPLETE RIP-OFF STORE.

I was stunned how rude and unprofessional this store is. I went in two weeks ago they did not have my size or color I wanted in my size so the guy talked me in to getting sent to my house for free. They did not fit right and I did not like color so I took back to store only 2 weeks later and had only tried them on, the guy told me I could not get my money back and only get an exchange. I told him I wanted to speak to manager I only wanted my money back and then he agreed to give it back. He said i had returned a pair of shoes before and it cost them money and to never come in the store avian. Really? My receipt said return with receipt in 30 days not exchange only. Awful customer service a disgrace to the new balance brand

I actually went to the St. Augustine location but I am going to check out this location today. I was recently diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. Anyone who has had this diagnosis or knows someone who has knows that it is extremely painful. I am on my feet all day everyday. Comfortable shoes are very important for caring for your feet. I bought one pair and as soon as I tried them on, they were comfortable. Within 3 days my feet were already feeling 80% better. New balance has definitely made a difference in my feet pain! I used to wear Nike but no longer will I buy those. New balance shoes are recommended by podiatrists and from my personal experience I see why!

Im typically a loyalist to New Balance and this store was really lacking as far as customer service goes and their available stock of shoes, granted im a 9.5EE, but im still an avid runner, and ive never had problems finding good shoes to fit my awkward feet since ive been using new balance. Overall the four sales reps, who didnt have anyone else to help in the shop as I was the only one, lingered in the back, almost refusing to help me as I asked for this and that shoe in my size. out of the eight shoes I asked for only two were available in 9.5, but werent made in a EE. Frustrated and Disappointed, I left the store, never to return.

After months of spending tons of money on running shoes and having foot pain I went into new balance, stepped on the machine they have and was personally recommended a pair of shoes by Corrine. I LOVE THEM! They have solved all of my problems and are so comfortable! I have spent hundreds on "wide" shoes and none have worked but the first pair Corrine recommended were perfect. I highly recommend the store for their knowledge and willingness to help find the right shoe for you. I will be returning for sure!

This was my first visit to the New Balance store in Jacksonville. I was greeted by a young salesman as soon as I entered the store. He measured my feet, brought shoes for me to try on, put them on my feet and tied the laces. I havent had this level of service at a shoe store in many years. My new shoes went for their first walk this morning--theyre great. I certainly will go back to this store for more.

Rude morons who have no desire to deal with humans or sell shoes. Their bad customer service skills are only surpassed by their obnoxious attitudes. I bought one pair of shoes here but I wont make this mistake again. Update -- 9/10/12 Its really only a few rude employees (mentioned in other reviews) that bring this place down. If you get the right salesperson youll have a good experience.

Service and common sense lacking at this store. Since the three sales reps were busy helping one person already, infact the only other customer in the store, they didnt seem capable of handling another customer. Hence, my son and I were completely ignored. They made their decision, and now I get to make mine.

Went today & there was no selection of sizes in regular shoes or sale shoes. Plus the lady I asked for help looked at me like I crazy & said "No, someone else will have to help you." And walked off to have the elderly man help me. Not a very friendly atmosphere when I walked in. Not happy & wont be back.

I visited this store on 11/7/11 and was very satisfied with their service. Stephen was my salesman and he was all the things I expect from a New Balance store. After reading the bad reviews, I was pleasantly surprised and got my new tennis walking shoes.

Walked in, told sales lady what I was looking for, price range and she brought multiple colors and styles for me to try on after the magic foot machine showed us what was needed. I walked out a ☺ customer! Ill probably go back for sandles soon!
