CVS is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The pharmacists are self-righteous, judgmental snobs, rude, yell at you, yell to you that they wont fill a prescription for a legally prescribed Rx. I take 5 different meds, 2 of which are controlled. I get 30 pain pills per month and take benzodiazapam for a nerve/disk disorder in my spine and neck and mainly to control seizures. Been on this medication for years and I do not abuse it. I dont doctor shop or pharmacy hop. One doctor, one pharmacy and now that one has been bought by CVS so Im going to have to find another one. I will not buy even a piece of candy from CVS. Theyre always understaffed, you have to wait forever to have a Rx filled by a rude jerk pharmacist (Ive never had a positive experience EVER at CVS). I asked one too many questions once to the pharmacist and she got mad and refused to fill my prescriptions. One question. It was in Jacksonville, Florida on Blanding Blvd. I wish I knew her name. Her reason? I bugged her too much. The question that tipped the scale, I asked her if it would be okay to have my anti-depressant filled at Wal-Mart cos there it was $4 and at CVS it was almost $40. I asked if that would affect her filling my anti-seizure medication. I dont have insurance and I dont have much money. I know the DEA is being a big pain in the butt now but that does NOT excuse the way they treat people. Ive had no choice but to go there and I heard it happen to others as well. They demand to know why Im taking the medication. What if I had AIDS and needed it for that? Or something like herpes or another STD? What if I had some other very personal illness or a mental illness? Id like to blame Obama and he is part of it but this has been going on for years. its just gotten worse. I beg you, google them and go to Wikipedia. Theres some really bad things on there about this very BIG company. Even if you have to pay a few dollars more somewhere else, for not only your sake but for others, go there instead, especially if you dare need a controlled substance. If they dont want to fill it, fine. I went somewhere else but I just found out CVS bought Target so not only is CVS going to lose my $$$, so is Target and Walgreens as I believe theyve been bought by CVS too, although Im not 100% sure about that. Doesnt matter, theyre just as rude there too and you have to go through a screening process there in order to have your medicines filled if theyre controlled. You are going to be treated like a drug addict, esp. if you have chronic pain, have to take a controlled substance for seizures or to be able to function if you have severe panic disorders or other mental illnesses. Quite simply, the pharmacists, techs, and customer care people are nasty. Theyre always understaffed, act like theyre doing YOU a favor by wasting their talking time to wait on you, force morality on you (i.e., they refuse to sell cigarettes). Okay, fine as they were always over-priced anyway, its their right but who do they think they are? Think of others. I have only seen one good review on this page. We are NOT all wrong. CVS sucks!!!! Rude, arrogant, self-righteous, holier-than-thou, NOSY, unwilling to help you ever for any reason (I called one tonight cos theyre the only 24 hour pharmacy open and it was late) asking for advice to help control fleas on my dog. They wouldnt even give me any help with any OTC flea medications. Youd think Id called to ask for morphine for my dog. AGAIN, CVS AND ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES, YOU TOTALLY SUCK!!!! Target will no longer get one dime out of me since you bought them (and I use to LOVE to shop at Target) nor will my family buy from there and they were faithful and loyal customers. Not anymore. Keep this up and both of you and any other pharmacy youve over-run, youre gonna fall unless you make some drastic changes in your personnel. I plan on spreading all the negative reviews and experiences all over the net and believe me, I have many faithful friends whove had horrible experiences

This is the worst pharmacy Ive ever seen, and its been bad for years. I went roughly 2 years without needing many prescriptions, so I recently made the mistake of having some prescriptions called in here. The trouble started when I received a text saying my order was ready. It did not specify which Rx was ready. So, I show up and wait in line, just to be told that only 1 of 4 of my prescriptions was ready. Then, the person who told me that told me theyd have the rest filled in just minutes and asked me to wait in the store. So, I got another text, and I was called back to the pharmacy on the PA. I again waited in line. This time, they had 2 of my 4 prescriptions ready. They didnt seem to know what I was talking about when I mentioned I had more prescriptions to pick up. So, I was told to wait in the consultation line to talk to the same kid who told me hed get the order ready on the second attempt. He took quite a bit of time to find the rest of my order, and I again was asked to wait while my remaining prescriptions were filled. Then, again I waited in line to check out, and my credit card was declined for no good reason. I used it later that night on a website. That wasnt a huge deal, as I have other cards, but its just an example of how difficult they make everything. I tweeted about this to CVS and contacted their customer complaint line. They offered to call me later to discuss the matter further, but I declined. I will not use this pharmacy again, and after years of the worst pharmacy service Ive ever seen, I have no confidence they will improve in any respect. From now on, Ill drive a bit further to Walgreens.

These reviews were definitely on point. Horrible pharmacy! I had several issues today with them. At the time I pulled up, I was told that my prescriptions were ready. I have two insurance companies, they only billed one, leaving me with a co-pay and told me I need to call my secondary insurer to straighten it out. Come to find out, it was their (CVS) mistake in a billing code. After I had my secondary insurer call CVS and set them straight, I pulled back through, only to be told that only one of my prescriptions were ready. Not to mention, at 8 a.m. I was told they would both be filled in 45 minutes. If that wasnt going to be the case, they shouldve called me or at least said that from the get go when I pulled up, instead of telling me they WERE ready. Super pissed off! I will NEVER return to this location. Hopefully this location isnt a representation of how all of the CVS pharmacies conduct business.
