This place is so full of weirdos, derelicts, nutcases and freaks, they could film an entire reality show season here. I come here a lot because it is literally around the corner and I have prescriptions to get. Sometimes I get out of there unscathed and within a reasonable time frame, but this is usually not the case. On a typical US1 Hollywod CVS visit, you will arrive to find bums on bikes in a drunken argument at the front door. You walk inside to see no one standing in line (phew!) but one scabby, fat, hairy man screaming for all to hear that he wants to know why he cant use the bathroom. Walk down an aisle and you will see Crackhead White Trash couple fighting over diapers. Go to the pharmacy and bask in the clueless, blank stare of the pharmacy tech who doesnt have your prescription ready although you called it in yesterday. Its not so bad to have to come back in an hour now, is it? Now, with your armload of toothpaste, hair gel and disposable razors, walk back to the cash registers, which all of the sudden, now have 3 lines 8 people deep. At the head of each line is some crazy old git with a cart full of prunes and toilet paper who is waving coupons in the cashiers face and bitching about 10 cents. Then the manager is called up front. Then the photo clerk opens to take customers, and some chubby grandma cuts in front of you. Then, some messed-up looking prison skinhead dude with a Dead Kennedys t-shirt starts giving you the eye. Oh, and then the drunken bums on bikes outside are now in the store arguing and one lies down in the middle of the front sliding glass doors. Yes, its a zoo. Its even worse late at night. But remarkably -and to their credit- most of the employees here are helpful and have decent attitudes. I dont know how they do it.

Been shopping at the CVS at 901 N Federal Hwy, Hollywood, FL 33020 for many years now. I used to shop there during the day and the day shift is polite, helpful and professional. About six months ago my work schedule changed and I started shopping there between the hours of 2am and 5am. At first I thought it was great that this store is open 24hrs. I soon changed my mind when I found out that CVS does not seem to care who they hire for the graveyard shift. Most mornings it seemed as though there was only one employee working. There was actually two but the second guy who calls himself a supervisor and goes by the name of Ruben is always hanging outside the store. This kid is rude, lazy and acts like he is a gangsta or something. I needed help and had to go outside to find this kid.He was talking on his cell phone. I asked him if he could assisist me and he blew cigarette smoke in my face and acted as if I was interrupting him. After that I left immediately and I will not go back until CVS starts to care again about who they hire.

This pharmacy used to be very personal and social they knew you by name and took great care of you. Since they stop the 24 hour service this has drastically changed! For the most part its impersonal and chaotic. I am incredibly disappointed with the change! This pharmacy was very convenient for me but I have opted to drive to another store just to not deal with the pharmacist at the store!

This is the worst pharmacy around. It is right in my neighborhood, but it is worth taking a drive to another pharmacy. They are slow, incompetent and it is always packed. If you dont have 30 minutes to waste doing something that should take 2 minutes...I dont recommend this pharmacy.

I get all my prescriptions here and they are caring and competent. I like getting the text messages when my scrips are ready. Often, they have decent sales. The store is clean and well cared for. This is a busy store. I also like the drive thru pharmacy.
