Fraudulent listing - advertising internet price $11,600 for Nissan Rogue - went there, test drove it, loved it, ready to buy - told them Im a cash buyer - had cash then and there ready to buy - they told me oh no, thats for financing only - cash price is $13,250 (plus dealer fee $999) - I said please show me anywhere on your website where you say that the internet price is not the cash price - thats only for financing - of course they couldnt - they pointed to a clause whereby it says anyone making an offer with credit must be approved by their bank - so thats not remotely got anything to do with me trying to buy, with cash, the vehicle for the advertised price. They just seemed to be vague about it and not know either. NOWHERE ON THE WEBSITE DOES IT SAY THAT THE INTERNET PRICE IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE FINANCING. I have no problem with them doing it this way but they MUST PUT A DISCLAIMER SOMEWHERE, must say "Internet Price (financing only price)" or something like that - or "not cash price") so that people know that the advertised price is NOT the price youll pay if youre paying cash. TOTALLY MISLEADING! They refused to let me buy the vehicle for the advertised price - FRAUD! will be reporting to better business bureau. Even Jose the manager admitted that it wasnt clear - the clause they kept pointing out has NOTHING to do with a buyer buying in cash!!!! Do they think Im stupid? He said hed talk to the owner and see if the owner would sell for this price - when I tried to call him today, his phone number is out of service - so what gives? Spoke to Hansel instead who said no, they wont sell at the advertised price. AVOID THIS PLACE!

I bought a car from The Car Shack that had a price of $18,500 (around there) and gave $13,000 down. I was told I was going to be financed with a bank named Santander but for some reason, I was financed for $12,000, how the HELL?! Being the idiot I am, I did not read my contract when I signed, and the contract copy I received has no dealer signature on it. Now, I get a bill about a month later by some company named American Credit, Inc. telling me I can bring my car payment into The Car Shack, WHAT?! Thats not who I financed with! I googled American Credit, Inc and got NOTHING. The address is a P.O. Box in Ft. Lauderdale and when you call the number, you get 2 beeps and nothing else. (Its a 305 area code but they have their P.O. Box in Ft. Lauderdale?!) I called the owner who then told me that "the companies are the same thing" BS, I got screwed, Im pretty sure that credit crap belongs to them. My car came with a warranty that expired less than a month after I bought it. I took my car to get inspected (at Vera Hummer) and they told me the brakes were at 20% and that I should get my transmission and differential checked, total price: $1,300. I bought the brakes myself and took it to the car shack to do the repairs, they changed my brakes (I hope they put in the ones I bought and not their crappy ones) but did nothing more, I think Im just going to have to pay the $1,300 to make sure the repairs are ACTUALLY DONE. Bottom line, DO NOT BUY HERE! They will scam you as best as they can!

They are liars and thieves!! I bought a car from them, and they produced a carfax for me which was clean of any defects, so i thought all was OK. Turns out they bought the car from the auction, and it was announced at the auction that the car had frame damage! They did not disclose this to me even though I specifically asked if there was any damage to the car that was not being reported! They knew there is damage because the auction is REQUIRED to disclose it otherwise the auction must refund their money under federal law. I discovered the frame damage report when I went to have the car appraised after owning it for about 18 months, and it turns out that the frame damage was reported by carfax, but carshack had printed the copy they showed me just prior to it being published (i.e. a couple of days after purchasing the car from the auction) while I bought the car after 2 days of them purchasing it from the auction. Needless to say, carshack is a bunch of scammers, and it would appear that carfax cannot be trusted because there is a delay from the time they publish their information! After my experience, I would not recommend that ANYONE EVER buy a car from them!! BUYER BEWARE!!

At first I couldnt believe the amazing prices they listed on autotrader and on their website. So I arrived there ready to make a purchase. After spending the whole morning testing the car, they made me wait 20 minutes while they prepared the paperwork. Then the salesman came back with a certified price around $4000 higher than was advertised! After expressing my incredible disbelief, he pretended to be surprised and asked you saw that price on the website??? I said yes. He went to verify the price and see whats going on. After another 20 minutes he calls me into his office and shows me the website advertisement where all the way on the bottom it says Disclaimer: This price is after a $3000 down payment. And they dont mention that they charge a dealer fee of $800. So dont be fooled by their great prices - they are actually just disguised horrible prices. These types of sneaky practices are what gives the used car business its sleazy reputation.
