I am in the market to buy an electric golf cart I heard bass pro has something like that. I found they carry "bad boy" brand. I dont have a lot of free time but I am in a financial position to walk in and buy. I took time today "labor day" to drive to the store in Dania, I took my bass pro credit card with the intent to show them I already have a credit line in place; and then it came time for me to find someone to sell me the cart, this is where everything fell apart. There were 3 sales people a dark haired young girl a man named James and another man (tall guy)that pulled a recorder out of his pocket and turned it on before speaking (These are the same people that sell the boats and motors). I was completely taken by surprise as I made every effort to inquire about price and availability and they made every effort to tell me what they couldnt do and how they are unable to help me. This was a real head scratcher that this quick review really can’t summarize. What I can say is they were clear to inform me that they were not commissioned sales people, which to me clearly showed where there TOTAL LACK OF MOTIVATION TO HELP THE CUSTOMER comes from. All I can say was the entire experience was bizarre, and not what I was expecting. The tall guy was the last guy I spoke with who pretty much dominated the conversation with how test drives were not available, and company policies, and that if i dont like it I can go up front and tell the manager. I took him up on the tell the manager part, who seemed to not be surprised with my comments and did assure me he would deal with it right away although he also didn’t take my name, information, or offer to help me buy anything either. I walked out of the store wondering "what just happened". I had a similar experience there a few months ago when I purchased a new shot gun (lots of what we can’t do and almost NO how can we help you). Im thinking it’s something in the culture of the company overall that they have been unable to identify or fix. Guess Im done with bass pro, the thrill is gone! If you’re looking for support or customer service I suggest you find another sporting goods store.

If you cant find a good time shopping here, then youre probably having a bad hair day!!! One of the few places left amongst large chain retailers where every department actually has people staffing each specialty area that know the sport, the products sold there, and even the competition not sold there, and most are experts in their specific areas. They also employ both a number of professionals in each of the boating, fishing, shooting and hunting sports, who are on duty frequently, to add to the regular scheduled contracted professionals who are featured from time to time. Add this to their aggressive seasonal and event driven calendar of special shows and promotions for customers, and it adds up to a showtime- like experience. The Islamorada Fish House is an excellent restaurant, with 3 distinct sections: a smaller Zane Grey and Ernest Hemingway furnished grill with bar featuring a slightly less ambitious number of menu items than the main Grand room, but superb in flavor and quality; and a sushi bar, where the best of the best local and imported sashimi and sushi is served to the few seats at the sushi bar, or delivered immediately upon each order to either the Grill room or the Grand room; and finally the Grand room, whose decor and ample number and size of aquariums will catch the eye of any child. The Grand room is as family friendly as a place can be, and the decor and diverse menu choices provide everything from The Best of Florida catches, to Alaskan, Canadian and South American fishes and crustaceans, all fresh and sustainably caught, with no nonsense in the descriptions and no colors added. If you want a private or more cozy or romantic atmosphere, go Grill, or for a traditional or family experience go Grand room. Either way, you cant go wrong for the moderate prices. Something for every pocketbook and taste. Once hooked, youll go back as a regular.

Worst customer service in the boat department , purchased a 15,000.00 tracker boat. Was given a written quote with a five year warranty on the boat, after speaking to Tracker Boats directly was told it was only 1 year, went back to the store and they said oh well we made a mistake nothing they could do. Ok still wanted the boat so accepted the fact that is was a 1 year warranty. Was told it would be a several days to pick up the boat as they we backed up the service department. Went back to the store on Sunday to look at some accessories for the boat, found that the boat had been moved from under the cover and was sitting in the pouring rain uncovered (yes I know it is a boat and can get wet) but when they owned the boat it was not left in the weather and all boats that were not sold as of yet sitting outside around ours where completely covered. We spoke to a young lady who identified herself as working in the service department (that department was closed on Sunday) and two of the boat salesmens and expressed our displeasure with where the boat was being kept, all three stated we completely understand and would take care of it, either moving it the receiving area which was covered or taking a cover off one of their boats and covering ours. This was 10:00 am in the morning, drove by the store at 5:30 pm in the pouring rain and the boat was still sitting in the same place uncovered. Cancelled the order before pick up due to being lied to. If you promise a customer that you will do something to the boat that you have already purchased, then you should in fact take care of it. Strictly cancelled the purchase on principal. Will take my money elsewhere and purchase a boat. My husband just drove by The store and now that we cancelled the purchase they have moved the boat back under the cover !!!!

I have been a Bass Pro Shop customer for over 30 years. I recently purchased an aluminum Jon Boat combination engine, trailer and boat. After only 8 hours of running time, the transom produced cracks. Corporate poorly repaired the manufacturing defect damage. During transport via Bass Pro Shop the trailer received severe damage. Corporate has made little to no effort to replace the trailer with a same quality trailer and the defect was not repaired properly. Bass Pro Shop is not willing to return the boat, trailer and motor I the same condition as it was received in . Ie, scratches to hull, improper wiring storage, loss of tie downs and the boat is extremely filthy. Very poor service. I am extremely unhappy. Nick, the service manager, at Dania has been very little help. Sandy, with Corporate, hasnt been any help either. I want my boat and trailer returned in the same condition as it was received. Its not too much to ask. Wouldnt you expect the same. Just Think twice about purchasing Bass Pro aluminum Jon Boats. Trust me.

The worst experience ever. Ive spent so much money at this store and I am done with this place. I entered the store looking for products to clean my rifle and the three employees chatting away with each other in my aisle ignored me completely. I was there about 30 to 40 minutes confused about what was recommended for me to use. I know that a lot of times you have to go up to an employee and ask, but when I saw one of the three employees go up to the person (of a light complexion) right next to me to assist them, and when they said "no, Im just browsing" the employee totally ignored me and left. I observed a fourth employee peeking at me poking her head from the end of the aisle. I Googled all the information I needed from my phone btw. I really hate to bring up the race card but it felt so obvious from my point of view. I feel disgusted and I will never spend a dime at bass pro ever again.
