My husband and I have bought our furniture from Havertys for years. We stopped by to pick up a twin size mattress, for our dog. We were looking for something from the clearance center. JD our sales guy was great showed us a couple options. At check out JD asks if we can have a mattress cover. The manager Steve says "no not at the price." I understand we are buying a clearnance item, but its in clearance for a reason. The managers smart mouth comment almost cost the sale and it will be last time Im shopping at havertys. He could have simply said no we dont have any instead of commenting on the price. Steve I hope this low sale was worth it, because youve lost a loyal customer over it.
