Over the years weve purchased fireplace accessories and just purchased outdoor furniture for a sitting area. Weve been very impressed with the quality of what they carry, the help we received shopping different brands and styles, and the transparent explanation of prices. Wed never own really nice outdoor furniture and their suggestions of how to determine what pieces would work best was really helpful. At no point did they push us to go beyond our budget. For example, pillows that are sold as accessories with chairs are beautiful and fit well; however, theyre also pretty expensive for a pillow. They had suggestions where and how to find less expensive pillows made of the same material. Were not experts, but the prices seemed to be fair for the quality of all the rest of their merchandise that we saw. Well be back should the need arise.

I just called Hearth & Patio to ask about a very small crack in the firebox of a wood-burning fireplace to see if its okay or if it could be repaired or if the firebox should be replaced. The person I spoke with didnt seem at all interested in helping me and didnt seem to realize that a call of this sort is a sales opportunity. What a disappointment.

We went in to buy a thermo couple for our fireplace. He gave us a quick fix and told us we may not need one. We went home, tried it, and it worked. He saved us 100.00!
