Why is tampa so redneck? Its 2012, visiting from Fort Lauderdale I expected something similar to south florida when I visited tampa but boy was I shocked, Tampa is like little Alabama or Tulsa, even the people dress like theyre from a tiny town in Ohio and guess what ..some of them are! This mall blows, if you want to see a real mall visit Bal Harbour or Aventura in Miami, the only okay mall in tampa is the international mall and even that sucks because its all old people who like to walk around pretending like theyre 25 years old and that their poop doesnt stink how much do you wanna bet that theyve never seen the beautiful people of SoBe? Otherwise they wouldnt be so deluded. What is up with this mall, its empty! I went on a weekday sure but in Fort Lauderdale when I visit the Broward mall or Pembroke mall even on weekdays its not empty like this westfield mall, aesthetically this mall and the entire tampa area is very lacking. The stores are mediocre, the workers are mediocre, some of the ladies working in the makeup counters like to stare daggers/give the evil eye if youre young and pretty because they are not, also if youre not from the tampa area especially if you are from south florida and youre visiting tampa you WILL stand out, you will be shiny and new while tampa looks old and run down so be prepared to be stared at because the people in tampa dress and act horrible! Miamians wouldnt dream of walking out the door without a proper outfit but in tampa I saw flip flops, raggedy shorts and big faded tshirts like these people rolled out of bed and didnt shower. Tampa you can have this mall, its pretty bad overall.

This is a racist mall, I visited Tampa and googled Buckle and was directed to this mall, after leaving Buckle I entered Express and security came and excited me out, said they got a call I was stealing, I told him that I have a receipt for everything in my bag and he can look view my items and the receipts, he said no, just leave, there wasnt a lot of black people I this mall, close to noon unless they were children with another ethnic group, before I exited the mall, there were a host of security guards coming from in from all directions, Im leaving but why like this, I was asked for my ID, when ask why I was told because I was being banded from the mall, They didnt care if I was stealing because they didnt want to check my bags they just dont allow our kind there, I was hurt and never been treated so bad in my life, this was horrible, I cried in shame, how are they able to treat us like this, its not right at all, If I was a their that would have been the day to be glad to be a colored their, I have never stole anything from anyone or place in my life, I was only at the mall to visit Buckle and Express, and I was streated bad, security was rude and racist, I will never forget that day, no one called to report theft my kind is just not welcome and it hurts, Im human as they are and I would have felt better if they would have checked me and apologized and let me continue my shopping, they said leave and never come back, my hurt dropped, I didnt give them my ID because I will never go back, who raised them,

Melo Drama

If youre a minority, dont shop here unless you have plenty of family and friends around you. Coming from a black person, Im saying this because I had a crazy experience. White people would stare you down as If you dont belong there. Its real creepy vibes in that mall. Especially when you go to the Johnny Rockets, they whisper once you walk in and look at you while whispering. Im not sure if it was what I had on, (Plain Red Tee, with Khaki Jogger Pants) , but I thought it was fine and appropriate. When I went to the Finishline (a shoe store), The worker who was a white man was following me and my mom. She noticed it first before I even did and called him out on it and acted like he was doing work. But the whole time he was following us to see if we was gonna buy something or not, Thats not how you treat a customer. Once you see other minorities like you, its a good relief because sometimes you feel like youre the only one. Besides that, They have cool stores inside. A little pricey but its not that bad.

Not crowded Free parking Child stroller and wheel chair accessible Free wifi Great food court located near movie theater. All the typical stores that are usually in malls. Godiva, Macys , Eddie Bauer, Lane Bryant, Sears, Crocs, victory secrets, bath and Body works , Tevana This is the first mall I been to that had a quite lounge area for tired parents or anyone who needs to charge their cellphones. Great mall , not crowded or incredibly noisy There is a Carousel near the food court, kids were all over it. This is a great Mall if you dont like crowds of people and lots of noise. Every store I went into the employees were friendly and professional. The movie theater has reclining seats , its never crowded. Friendly employees Not a big mall but perfect for those days you want to stroll around and mall walk.

Citrus Park Mall is beautifully done inside and out! It has lovely landscaping and fun storefronts! There are a variety of stores inside to accomadate whatever your looking for! It even has Atomic Tattoos if your in the mood for some ink! Ive gotten 4 tats myself there (thank you Bryant Kinney!) They have a great movie theater and areas for the little kids to climb and play! You can get chair massages that are wonderful when your shopping for awhile! Theyre food court has really nice updated seating with areas to plug your electronics in! The mall also features several yummy restaurants...BJS Brewery, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Grimaldis Pizza, Johnny Rockets and Pholicious! And there are plenty of shops and restaurants across the street that make going to The Citrus Park Mall a fun destination!

Really dont know how this mall stays in business? It would be closed down already if it was in Sofla. The only store with regular customers is the tattoo shop. Workers are desperate to sell you something especially in the department stores. In sofla people working in the makeup areas of department stores need to be young and beautiful or they will not be hired but not in tampa, theyll hire anyone who can speak english and stand on their feet for a few hours. The place is deserted its creepy. Parking is plentiful, the bathrooms are just like any other mall bathroom in tampa and the stores are the same as most other westfield malls. This is only a good mall if you want to feel like youre the only shopper in the entire mall.

The seating and sound is wonderful, but ONLY HEARING the first half of the previews (audio, NO VIDEO?!?!) was quite annoying. We are already being bent over for the concessions (as much as the ticket?!?!) And so the LEAST you can do is make sure we can SEE the NEXT reason we should be shelling out more money to see it, whilst staring at half- a- football- field screen, and listening to it with the best surround sound money can buy...... OOOOORRR.... watch it on demand for.... WOW... $15 and I OWN IT.... Wanna gouge me for freshly- popped popcorn, ok... but screwing with the previews is like blacking out the Super Bowl Half- Time show
