Ive just came to this restaurant at 1400hrs. They first told me it would be a 30 minute wait. The owner came back and told us it would be a 45 minute wait instead shortly after. Waiting we saw three tables check out. After waiting 30 minutes the owner came to us and told us he cant serve us because they close at three. He blatantly said that he doesnt want to kick people out of his tables and wont be able to serve us in time I was under the impression that I would be seated since I arrived at 1400 hrs and having us wait over tables that have already been cleared. This has happened to several potential customers and seems as if the owner is not willing to provide a service to the good citizens of Brooksville. Ive tried on another occasion to have lunch with my daughters and he did the same. I was thinking if maybe I made it earlier, an hour before closing that I would be seated, seems I was in the wrong. Any of the other local restaurants are more than willing to cater to the citizens. I have lived in Brooksville for over 21 and never has a business acted in the manner this owner chooses to run his! If this owner wants to "run my business the way I want to" then I will choose to not to give him my dime.

I have visited the tilted teacup for the 3rd time in as many years a few weeks ago with my 3 children ( twins 8 and an 11year old , we visit from overseas) and my Aunt. I was "a little " ( understatement )shocked when I received the bill and discovered we had been charged $92 !!!, my 8 year olds had the little angel dish ( a small sandwich , scone and samplers of 2 cakes ) the 3 others in the party all had a croissant sandwich , and we shared 1 cake , all of which was very nice . We also had 2 pots of tea at a cost of $25 . I questioned the bill at the front desk and was told , they have changed things slightly, we were charged $5 per person for the tea , ( even for the children who didnt even drink it ) . I did give feedback saying it would be appreciated if this was made clear on ordering and was told this is mentioned in the front of the menu ( which it is , but we did feel pressure to get our order in so didnt read the whole menu , as I am sure many others wouldnt either ) for what we had ,we felt it was very overpriced, this visit , and left the whole experience feeling very disappointed and unlikely to return . Sorry

The food is excellent and the atmosphere very pleasing. Sorry that I have a complaint. I do not appreciate chipped china. I have always been told that when china is chipped it is wide open for bacteria growth. I have had many teas in many places, my last being the House of Lords and did not appreciate being told I could not have jam with my scone because you are not an English tea house. Surely you are concerned about customer service and I would have thought a simple reply of "please feel free to request it next time and we would be happy to make your experience better". You serve lemon curd at an extra expence, is that not English. I will come back with my own jam and hope I dont have chipped china

When I was first asked to join a client and her staff for a "tea party" I was excited to see what it was like, I had never been to an establishment like this before. I dont even drink tea but the experience and the broad selection to choose from was something I found out I do actually like. I would recommend "Night of the Iguana" with cream - very soothing. We had the "High Noon" and each item was a special treat. I have been there three times since then and order the scones at least every other week to go. I recommend this experience for friends to try something new together, for anyones mother, if your not into tea - its okay, the food is delicious. Well done, Tilted Teacup owners!

My family loved this place. We only got to enjoy 3 varieties and the food was delicious. I recommend the cranberry chicken salad sandwich, and my daughter recommends the curry chicken salad. We all recommend the Sleepy Hollow tea. All three teas were excellent! Great atmosphere and the owner attended to us herself. Thanks again and will be back!

What a special atmosphere in this little Victorian gem. The eyes feast of all sorts of repurposed art and curios while the palette is treated to a wonderful though limited selection of daily fare. Kudos to the owners who have brought a touch of class to Brooksville with their new little tea room and boutique and their genuinely dear personalities!
