This is the worst boutique ever. I had the worse bridal experience. Megan, the owner, ordered the wrong size dress for me. She even saw me in the dress and said that it was perfect. When I got the dress in, THEIR seamstress said that there mustve been a huge mistake and the dress shouldve NEVER been ordered in this size for someone like me. I was so humiliated and became super body conscious for no reason except for the fact that they ordered the wrong size. I was told that this was my fault because I was "so happy" when I first tried it on. Well duh... I loved the dress. I spent so much time in front of the seamstresses mirror crying because of how terrible I felt because I just couldnt fit. I felt like this was all my fault but it wasnt. But the thing is... I dont know a thing about fittings or seamstressing. THAT IS YOUR JOB MELINDY ELENE. Your customers should not have to be experts in order to get the right dress. Both me and the steamstress confronted Megan, the owner, about the problem. Megan came up with the solution to tear apart the dress in order for it to fit me. Megan even said that there was a seam that they could let out. THERE WAS NO SEAM. There was nothing to let out. Not even an inch. If you were good at your job you wouldve seen that aspect right off the bat. At least know your dresses. Now Im stuck with a $3,000 dress that I will never wear. She wouldnt even return it for a bigger size. She blamed the dress designer for it being a funky fit. Who does that??? DONT TRASH YOUR PRODUCTS. I contacted Ms. Anna Campbell, the dress designer, and they were appalled at this behavior. They sent me curiosity gift to make up for what a horrific experience I had. And the worst of all... It was the only thing my father bought for me for my wedding and now I cannot even touch it. Its just such a sad reminder that I will probably never be a super model. Body shaming is a real thing and it hurts. Please take your bride and run. She deserves better. She doesnt need to feel fat and stupid. I wouldnt wish it on anyone.

I am so, so, so thankful that a friend referred me to Malindy Elene! I scheduled an appointment shortly after my engagement, and I have had a fantastic experience from that day forward. I felt so comfortable in their beautiful boutique-like store, and I appreciated the attention and privacy that came with being the only appointment scheduled at that time. Karla was so patient and took the time to understand what I was looking for and walk me around the store to look at various styles. She kept my preferences in mind but encouraged me to step outside of my box (she even encouraged me to try on some dresses that were outside of my “idea” of what my dress would be like, and I picked one of them!). I did not feel at all pressured to make a purchase that day, and I ended up coming back a few weeks later to purchase the dress I loved the most without ever looking anywhere else! They have been a dream to work with over the past 10 months – patiently helping me to pick out and special order various accessories and additions to my dress. Their style advice and recommendations have been right on point. They have even gone above and beyond by coordinating the cleaning and altering of my mom’s veil that I plan to wear, and they have been so sweet to both my mom and my future mother-in-law. I have my first fitting today, and I am so excited to see my wedding look come together with all of their help! I highly, highly recommend starting and ending your dress shopping here!

From the moment we buzzed the door we knew this was where we would find the dress. The sales lady, Trailer, was so fabulous and incredible to work with. She paid very close attention to my expectations and dreams for my dress and let my sister and mom pull dresses. It was so amazing to be the only bride in the salon; she was very considerate and willing to help me find the one. The dress I found was actually one my sister pulled and as soon as I put it on I knew it was the one. Trailer was very helpful in finding the perfect veil. She was even kind enough to tell us about a trunk show the salon was having and if I came back I would get the dress 15% off. Come on people, nobody wants to tell you about a sale. This is a place that truly cares. It was an experience I compare to many others and none of them even come close to the service I received from this salon. They were even kind enough to let us come back an hour later to show a friend. It was the experience I dreamed about and I would recommended this salon to every bride, believe me, I drove from Orlando to go there.

I absolutely loved shopping and selecting my dream wedding dress at Malindy Elene! The atmosphere at Malindy was so beautiful, bright and spacious. I brought along my mom, sister, and 2 grandmothers who all had an amazing experience as well. I tried on a bunch of dresses out of their large selection, about 12 or so, but I kept turning back to the first dress I tired on. A gorgeous Martina Liana, nothing of what I originally expected to select, but it was meant to be. Everyone was so sweet, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Once I decided on YES! they popped champagne to celebrate! When my dress came in, I had minor alternations by Oliva Grey. She did amazing and it fit perfect! Again it was so much fun to be there and couldnt wait to return and pick it up! On my wedding day I felt truly beautiful and totally in love with my dress. I couldnt offer a better recommendation than Malindy Elene for the ultimate shopping experience! I am so happy my planner, Brooke Palmer, introduced me! Thank you!

Malindy Elene was a real disappointment and what a shame it immediately reminded me of being in a New York boutique I was really happy to be away from the chain type of stores. Sadly one of the owners that was working on that day honestly could have cared less that this was a special day for us, the night before was a trunk show and she was I think tired that she had made that appointment. We did most of the "heavy lifting" (pulling gowns) on our own while she busied herself with the evenings leftovers and chucked at random messages she was getting. In fact when that ONE finally was found we were never offered that POP of champagne. Not to drag out the entire story but here it is 6 months past the wedding date and they never contacted me for the fitting, nothing. the dress cost over $6,000 I picked it up shortly after purchase to keep at home until time to be fitted they told me that i would be contacted. Not even a thank you, nothing. Malindy Elene your awful you should change your name to Dress-Zilla

My experience working with Helen at Malindy Elaine was just perfect from start to finish. First off, the salon itself is gorgeous. The owner has created a wonderfully classy and luxurious atmosphere-- you feel like a queen just sitting down for the initial consultation. But what really set this place apart from the other salons I visited was the service. Helen was great-- knowledgeable but never pushy, really genuinely friendly and nice. She let my maid of honor and I peruse the dress selection ourselves, while making spot-on recommendations based on the desired look Id described in my consultation. I could tell right away that she got what I was looking for. In the end I walked out a day later with a gorgeous Priscilla of Boston sample, which the owner sold to me at a fantastic price. Couldnt be happier with my dress or my dress-shopping experience!
