I stopped by Turners on my way home.(traving back to Texas) I was promptly greeted by a salesman named Mark. I stated to him that is was just in to look around.(and to my delight he was just as excited to help me look around). Mark went on to ask some questions trying to find out any information that I may have to better assist me. He gave me great history of the company and a tour of the Store.(which was under renovations). I have him some information on where I was from and the types of styles I like. I have been the the industry for better part of my adult life and know how the system works and informed him that if he needed to help someone else please feel free to help them. He informed me that it was his pleasure to assist me even though I wasnt buying. Turners was a pleasant surprise. It had the feel of a home town store that gives it customers the experience that the big box stores do not. In the end I told him what a pleasure it was for him to take the time to assist me in my experience. I would have to say without a doubt I would shop with Turners based on the experience that I received. In conclusion I were to live in the Highlands County area I would be a huge fan of Turner Furniture they offer many great styles of furniture at great prices. Keep up the great work .

Mark was a tremendous help to us when we came to your establishment on 5/21. The store had been closed,but was having flooring completed,he was there to allow the workers time for completion. We had come from out of town, and once we parked he did not hesitate to invite us inside to look around the showroom. When we explained what furniture we were looking for he diligently took the time to show us each type of love seat, recliner, recliner- couch in the show room. He did not pressure us. He was a complete professional and allowed us the time to make our decision. He did point out the ability to discount items when they are stacked as a purchase. We were so impressed,the very next day we had him add in an additional purchase. The staff should feel fortunate to have such a pleasant old-school representative. Let him also show you how going the extra mile for customers pays off!!!

In January this year (2016) we purchased two lazy boy lounge chairs, one. Was perfect, the other was very poorly finished, they are both leather, partially, the person who built the one chair eather had a bad day, or it was his first chair, he shorted padding in the arms. And in the back, I complained to Turner, they came and picked up the chair, brought me a loner, it did take about a week, but they fixed it, they have a repair man that is very talented in the repair of furniture. The sad part of this is, it is really not Turners fault, the fault belongs to Lazy boy, but the shipping back to Minnisota is a killer. Turner fixed it, did a good job, only the next time we will be looking for something other than lazy boy .. Tom and Marge McNamara. L.P.

I was new to the area and had heard good things about Turner Furniture, as well as seeing their trucks regularly in my development. Now that Im a customer I can say everything is true about their 65 year old reputation. Superb selection, excellent service, and of course, competitive pricing. My sales consultant Ted M., was a real pro--listened carefully, analyzed well, and suggested appropriately. And their delivery team was top notch too. Turner is a great family owned alternative to the large furniture box stores. They really care about their customers and provide a very personal touch, that truly takes the stress out of buying furniture. I highly recommend. Five stars for sure!

I returned a $645 chair to TURNER FURNITURE five days after purchase because the chair was poorly constructed . ( I have pictures to prove it), After two days of use, there was a 1/2 inch space in the center of the seat beween the foam padding and the seam in the leather. I could feel the spring between the pad and the leather seam. It was very uncomfortable . The manager would not admit there was a defect in the chair. He said it was the seam that I was feeling and that was the way the chairs were made. So I saw no reason to exchange it. I had no choice but to return the defective chair and pay a 25% restocking fee because of the unpadded space in the center of the chair.

We ordered 2 identical recliners around Thanksgiving, which would be shipped in a few weeks according to the salesman. After many calls and a personal visit back to the store, the recliners arrived months later, although we had to change the order as the factory was unable to obtain the fabric we selected for the recliners. Or so the story goes. I would highly recommend that any purchases there be "cash and carry" if you want to avoid a potential similar situation. Buyer beware!

I am adding to a previous rating. This business called me wanting to know why they received this rating. I was looking for furniture for my daughters room. There was not any kids furniture in the showroom so I could evaluate the quality. After all, kids live in this county too. I was scolded for leaving this rating and was told I could go to Miami to actually see the furniture. Which is 150 miles away. My family were faithful customers but no longer. Sorry Turner Furniture.

I was looking for a new mattress and box spring, I did a lot of comparison shopping and found Turner to be the best with variety and pricing. I found the perfect bed and feel I got the deal of the century. One of my main concerns was if I had a warranty problem would one of the other dealers be around to help out, I knew Turner would be as they have been here as long as I can remember and have a good reputation. The delivery crew did an excellent job.

We had a truly great experience. The team helped us pick the master bedroom set that embodied both my husband and my taste. The quality of the furniture we ordered is beyond what we even thought. Dove tail drawers and attention to the small detail on each piece is high quality. The delivery crew was professional, prompt and trained on customer service too, ensuring we were happy with each piece and with the placement of the furniture! Thank you all!

Great experience with this store. When we made our purchase we were shown several options in what we asked to see without the rep being pushy and trying to influence us one way or another. Delivery was scheduled and then confirmed a day ahead and the next day I got a call saying that they were on the way right when they said they would be. Thanks for being considerate of the importance of my time. We lover our new furniture!
