Awful store. I actually worked here for awhile, keep in mind this place does not care about the employee. OR DOGS. Firstly, when I started I was really excited. I love dogs, but I was given a book and a previous book that was filled out by a previous employee and told to copy it all. So I was given the book to take home to copy, next day I gave in both books and began. When new bathers were employed Brielle went over the books with them, I was upset about this because I was always to blame for things I didn’t understand. After calling off my first day due to a chemical burn all over my body Brielle became distant. She would snap at me for little things I asked, I wasn’t shown how to shave paw pads or light trimming. She had the nerve to make comments on me like “not social” even though when she wasn’t working I was great. The customers loved me, I was tipped very well and I took the time to know my fellow team. When Brielle is there the atmosphere changes to anxious. I’ve even stayed late to talk with customers about the grooming process, if they wanted a bath I would gladly stay to get it done quickly for them. I don’t even know the floor but I would always try to look with the customer before finding someone to actually help. Did the managers care? Nope. They still labeled me as “problem with communication.” I also hated the fact that we were able to take in dogs without rabies shots. . Coming up to when I wanted to leave- at the time of working I tried very hard to be on top of things. My dogs were done, I had no complaints, I was tipped very well and gave out my card a lot. I handled the phones, I even did other bathers dogs so they could leave. At closing I would help out cleaning the front or just doing it myself. But I was told I needed to do more like I did nothing. I even came in to work for two hours to help out a groomer. I was always put down when I did my best efforts. I had a wisdom tooth cutting into my check, so if I didn’t have to social with the team I didn’t do it. They liked the adult talk anyways, so I kept to myself. Brielle thought it was a problem and claimed I was always like that. I went ahead and spent ALOT of money on getting it removed so I wasn’t in pain and could speak up more. The result was with the days healing I was harassed for being unable to speak much. Even though I was always on top of customers she was upset I didn’t speak with the team as much. I was told that after 6 we don’t take in dogs so for months that what we did, until finally a snobby lady took it upon herself to complain to management about it when she tried to come in right before we closed. So I was called in the office and told the situation. I looked to Brielle because she never said a word about that rule being untrue. She said nothing. I even told them about the groomer that said it was okay to do so. I was told to reschedule with her- management didn’t care. I was told “Do anything and everything to make money. Even if you have to stay late or bend the rules. management will be sure to look the other way.” Lady complained because she didn’t have rabies shot and our policy (for baths) is that no dog can come in without it. She was upset and called the manager about this claiming I was awful to her, I didn’t want to do her dogs. I didn’t listen, I had an attitude. Even though other groomers were there as I asked questions before I told the lady I would gladly reschedule. Did they care? Nope. But if they complain about Brielle it was just “customers bring customers.” We had a new bather who doesn’t seem to care much about dogs. As she was washing an older dog she was flustered by the work. I did some of her dogs for her like always. She brushed the dog till his soars opened up and he was bleeding down his back. No more cared. After while he was brought to the vet next door. Brittany has no back bone and doesn’t like to talk to you unless she likes you. Brielle is an AWFUL manager. Other groomers complain she gives herself the better shifts every day.

The staff in the grooming department at this store are incredibly rude and could care less about the well being of your pet. Not to mention, PetSmart isnt the best priced place out there anyway. A rabies tag isnt enough proof that your dogs have a rabies shot, they want paper work. Like people carry that around with them everywhere they go. This PetSmart could care less what their customers think of them and I hope they go out of business so that they can learn a good lesson: respect the people who pay you. Theyve lost us as a customer and we will never return. If you care about your pet, take them some place else.

I had a terrible experience in the grooming department. I took my 5 month yorkie for his first full trim and even showed them a picture of what i wanted. They took 2 hours so i assumed they had done a good job. When i picked my baby up he was basically shaved. He did not even look like a yorkie anymore. I could not understand how this happened if they are supposed to do this all the time. I felt so bad i could not sleep. He went from being one of the cutest yorkies to looking like a little rat. Please do NOT take your dog here! I would rate them no stars if possible.

This place is gross and the service is atrocious. The staff is not knowledgeable, or willing to "go out of the way" to help anyone. I saw a German Cockroach today on the floor and an employee came over and squashed it, shrugged her shoulders and walked away. The only thing decent here are the doctors at Banfield. But even their wait time is atrocious, and without explanation even when asked. This is one of those convenient places people have to go to, I doubt anyone comes here because they actually have a pleasant experience.

Ive never had a problem with this store. Ive been going since theyve opened and have purchased two fish and enough dog and cat food, litter and toys to float a boat. Store is clean, bright and organized. Staff is limited but friendly. One time I was desperate for cat food and knocked on the locked doors right after they closed. They actually opened up just for me and let me purchase. Nice extra service touch. True, Ive never had a pet groomed here, but the grooming staff is always busy, so my guess is theyre good.

NO STARS!!! THE GROOMING DEPT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY TAKE IT UPON THEMSELVES TO CUT THE DOGS HAIR ANY WAY THEY LIKE. MY DOG WAS SO CUTE WHEN DROPPED OFF FOR A PUPPY TRIM, THEN LOOKED STUPID AND REDICULOUS WHEN PICKED UP. THANKS TO THE UNDERSTANDING STORE MANAGER FOR AGREEING WITH ME AND GAVE ME MY MONEY BACK. I WILL BE CALLING CORPORATE AND POSSIBLY SUING. DEVASTATING! UNTRAINED YOUNG KIDS WORKING HERE. NO RESPECT!!! DO NOT GO IN THERE!
