For some people, getting a new cell phone and service can be as stressful as buying a new car. As with car dealers, many cellular sales people can be overly aggressive, deceptive, trying to add on more than you need, etc. In doing my research I knew that I wanted to switch to Cricket (formerly AIO)...great plans, great phones and the strength of the AT&T network. Next I needed to find a location to purchase from. There was one close to my house on 434 in Longwood, but honestly, from the outside, they seemed to be...for lack of a better word...youre typical flea-market reseller. On 436 in Altamonte, I found a brand new, clean, professionally staffed location...I actually thought it was a corporate store. The staff there was extremely courteous and very professional. As we were looking at the phones, though I was ready to buy model X, when I asked if anything new was coming out, they told me model Y would be out in 2 days at a great price. Perfect! Now they could of kept quiet and risked loosing the sale as I walked out, but their being upfront was quite refreshing. I came back today and we got 3 phones for the family. They took the time to port our numbers (from carriers that required call-ins) and made sure we were completely happy with the transition. Actually, sales have been so good that the owners wife had to drive to another of their stores to get the phones for us as they sold out earlier in the day. While we waited, they also filled out our rebate forms...they didnt have to, its just a nice touch. So yes, I definitely recommend you leave your expensive contracts and check out Cricket. With prepaid, I estimate that I save $2K over the last two years with StraightTalk. It was time for new phones and Cricket was the answer. Then, when choosing a store, this is the family-owned business which provided the stress-free experience.

I researched several companies for no contract phones and went with Cricket because Im inexperienced with a smart phone and liked the fact that I could walk in the store and get personal help. When I came in to sign up, I was lucky enough to get Marcus as the associate who signed me up for a plan. He did a wonderful job getting my plan in order, transferring my contacts from my old phone, helping with the rebate paperwork and setting up my accounts. He also went over my new phones features with me. He even followed up with a call about a week later to check on how the new phone/plan was doing and informed me about a small seminar they are conducting. The other associates have been helpful as well on the occasion I had a small issue with data usage. How well the service and plan pans out remains to be seen but with Customer Service being such a huge issue with these types of plans, I would highly recommend Cricket.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Cricket store. I have been with Cricket for a few years and have been (and still am) pretty satisfied, but this store is a joke. No manager was on duty when I was there, nor when I called back a couple days later. Was told that there is only one manager and she was out for a couple weeks. Unfortunately this means the store is run by a bunch of teenagers that have no idea what customer service means or how to resolve anything. From getting my order wrong, to installing a screen protector improperly (which caused it to come off and break), I was told essentially, "tough luck". No refund, no replacement, no options, just "sorry I cant help you". Now I understand why the service is so cheap. Just prepare yourself to be disappointed and youll always be satisfied.

The shop here was awesome and made switching my provider and from iphone to android easy and painless. Juan was excellent in answering all of my questions and listening to my concerns about cost and switching from the iphone. My biggest concern was in general connectivity... But so far, my reception has been great, and there is no noticeable difference in my data speed. The plans Cricket offers are fantastic and affordable; I cut my bill by more than half, and my android smart phone only cost $25 after rebate! What a deal. I would definitely go back again. I really loved it there. After the disappointing service of the first cricket store, I was delighted to be greeted with such great service. The staff who dealt with me stayed over his shift time to help me, but moreover, he was nice to me the whole time he was helping me. Id like to really compliment the employlees-- they knew what they were doing, and had vast knowledge about their work.

The staff at this location showed no interested in helping pay a phone bill with cash in store. I guess they were having problem with computers, which is understandable. However the staff were unfriendly and seemed more interested in using theyre own phones than they were in helping me get my bill paid and phone working. On a positive note the store was clean and smelled great.

Juan R. was AMAZING!!! John and I came into to buy each other Christmas phones, and he was soo helpful with explaining everything and even transferred our contacts and information too!! You could tell hes definitely knowledgeable in all the Cricket products and everything. He deserves a raise!!!

Rude owner. I could hear his conversation while one of the employees called him to ask a question and I could not believe how he responded. Plus it was like a hang out or something for the employees families. Ill drive to extra distance to help my father with his phone bill in the future.
