ToysRus/ BabiesRus is one of the only places in CT that stocks the things I need for my children. However if you order something dont expect to get it or be called or treated like a customer at all. I bought an $800 crib for my baby that wasnt in stock at the time. I paid for the delivery and was told by the employee that it would be Im stock by the weekend and that on Monday they would contact their shipping company with the order and the shipping company would then contact me to set up delivery. The crib was in stock just when the employee said it would be restocked but I went back and forth with ToysRus and the shipping company for 3 weeks to get it delivered and assembled finally. Then I gave them another chance and bought a $500 power wheels and it would fit in my car at the time so I said to myself, well I should get them to assemble it then. Ok they say we will call you in about a day when its ready. So I waited.. no call. I call up 3 days later and the employee tells me oh its been ready for a few days. Horrible customer service. If another store competed with them they would go out if business for sure.

Mothers, Do yourself a favor and DO NOT register or shop here. I dont normally post ANY negative reviews, but dealing with Babies "R" Us has been THE SINGLE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I have never gone around in circles so many times, repeating the same information without any action or even an apology. You can shop at Amazon cheaper, it comes faster, they actually have customer service, AND theyll make a charitable donation on your behalf (so if you happened to get ripped off like with Babies "R" Us, at least the charity still makes out). It is beyond me why everyone thinks its a great idea to give new moms gift cards to this store. I didnt register or ask for any and got at least 6. Now I am out about $100 in gift cards and have no formula for my infant because their order never processed. They wont do ANYTHING without a confirmation or registry number. Reading the rest of the complaints on their Facebook Page, it looks like they wont do anything regardless. No one should have to deal with this kind of aggravation, especially new moms.

Great store. It is a Babies R Us, and a Toys R Us combined. So it has a baby furniture show room section, as well as carriages and baby linen. It also has toys, bikes, ride on toys, and a very expansive Lego section. They have some events through out the year with Lego and Thomas the Train, that are fun to go to. In addition, you can sign up for the birthday club and get $3 coupons in the mail for your child. Overall, store is clean, not very busy and has a great seasonal aisle. The only down side is the customer service, theres usually only 1 line open and the customer service desk, or just the customer service desk. It is also hard to find someone to help you in the aisles, or near the bike department.

Bad customer service! I am not coming to this babies r us again, how dare you bring another mother down after she lost her baby & ask "why is returning a stroller & car seat?" I am doing my baby shopping else where. Dont come here. These people that work here are awful. If it would allow me to put Zero star I would give it to them. This is embarrassing for babies r us to be on tv. I am ashamed to come to this store now.
