Have been coming to Fish Bowl for 30 years. Tony has always been helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and full of good advice. However, Tony even stepped it up a notch. A fish emergency arose and on very short notice Tony and the fish bowl were able and willing to help. Ive purchased many fish tanks and equipment as well as numerous fish over the years. Always with a good selection and good prices. I want to thank Tony for not only his recent assistance but also for his years of friendship and support. He and his staff get to know their customers and they take excellent care of the fish and other various animals in their care. I highly recommend the fish bowl pets.

Weve been loyal clients for ten years, and still love looking at all of the animals each time we go. This is one of those family owned and operated businesses that are so rare, and so wonderful. We initially went into the shop intending to buy a long-promised lizard for our 10 year old daughter. The owners took the time to find out exactly what we were looking for, what kind of care, maintenance and cuddly-factor we wanted, and we left with a corn snake and water frog that fit our needs perfectly (although we check out the bunnies, ferrets and other furry creatures on every visit). Weve continued going back for supplies and advice, and its always a pleasure.

The family owned operation could not be better. The service staff was friendly and knowledgeable They had a HUGE selection of fish and many other pets (the baby rabbits had to be the most adorable things Ive ever seen in my life) And the prices were very reasonable compared to larger chains (lets be honest, they are a mom and pop shop so the prices may be a dollar or two more but for the quality of the animals and the depth of service I think it was WELL worth it, much more attentive than a minimum wage teen who couldnt care less about you and your needs but more about texting.... but I digress) Definitely give this place a try, and you wont be sorry!!!

First you will notice, Tony has a sign outside that explains why he doesnt sell puppies. This isnt a mega-chain store, employed by unqualified staff, with understocked shelves. His staff is professional, and his store is stocked with high quality animals and equipment that are priced accordingly. It isnt expensive, but it isnt cheap. You are undoubtedly getting the best quality of animals and equipment. I would rather pay 10% more and know that everything will live or last. Prices are comparable with online breeders... I remember shopping at this store since 1985, it is still there for a reason.

PHENOMENAL!!!!! Wish we can give 10 stars!!! The service we get in the care and maintenance of our fish is beyond expectations! Tony has given us expert advice at all hours of the day...he is always super friendly and very professional. We are grateful for him and all he does! He has been taking care of us for years! THANK YOU! We have moved from Stamford but still travel over 300 miles to come to his store and will only get our beloved pets from him!

I love Fish Bowl Pets! Tony (The owner) always keeps his selection of freshwater fish and aquatic plants varied and exotic. Ive maintained several freshwater tanks for over 5 years and places like these are very rare to come by. Once I visited Fish Bowl Pets I stopped going to Petco and Petsmart for good. Support this local gem! You wont regret your visit! And if youre like me...youll end up spending far more than you planned. :)

Ive been going to the Fish Bowl for nealry 15 years. Tony and Grace have a lovely shop. Tony knows more about fish than any 10 people I know. He also is very knowledgeable about reptiles and amphibians. The Fish Bowl is our go-to place for critters of every size. And their selection of aquariums and supplies is unmatched for a store of its size... I love the store... I hope they are around for years to come.

Was a customer at Fishbowl for many years, just visited them again yesterday. The owner (Tony) always has new and fascinating species in his store, Ive never seen a lot of his stuff anywhere else. Hes a walking encyclopedia of knowledge, has the most amazing variety of fish, lizards, snakes, rabbits, and so much more, no one else even comes close for the service, quality, and personal attention.

I Love that place. The old Guy over there got lot of knowledge to share about fish,food,tank,lighting and also plants. The fish i bought from that store lived a long time in my tank. Compared to the other petstores (petco & petsmart) the fish from that store have vibrant colors. i would recommend the store. Healthy fish lovely collections

This is a local pet shop that has been in business for more than 25 years in Stamford and he serves the communities pets needs. I recently visited for the first time and had questions about Betta care and he was able to answer all of my concerns. I bought a beautiful half-moon from there. Will only buy my fish from FishBowl from now on.

Excellent store! I found that the store has it all! Super selection of fish, reptiles other animals and tanks and accessories. Very good prices! And the service is the best Ive seen. The managers own the store and pay attention to every detail. They have a wealth of expertise and their caring nature makes shopping there a treat.

Awesome Selection of Live Plants, Cichlids, Tropical Fish, and some oddities such as Arowanas, tadpoles, and occasionally a baby stingray! Outstanding Service, Tony is so informative and really cares about the hobby. FBP also has a good selection of Reptiles, Amphibians, and Small Animals! Would definitely recommend!

Great customer service. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We drove 45 minutes to visit the store as we are starting a freshwater tank for our daughter and wanted advice. I just want to say that the owners and staff are AWESOME! These guys know their stuff, and if they dont know they will find the info for you. Every time I visit the store there is always a fish that Ive never seen, and I own 3 tanks. If youre looking to start up a tank, stop by and see Tony.

The absolute best experience! I got 9 african cichlids, and a ton of advice. I have since completely changed the way I keep them and it has paid off! I can finally enjoy my fish instead of worrying about them. I will be coming here for my aquarium needs for now on!
