Each time I visit this location it is more and more apparent that the staff, including management, is trained to be completely unaware of their surroundings or their responsibilities to the customers. I have had managers step out in front of me as I walk through the store or attempted to exit. This morning the gathering at the service podium between the bread and soda aisles spread across the bread aisle completely blocking shoppers paths in or out of the aisle. I spoke up and said "Excuse me! Am I in your way!". Yes, it garnered a few dirty looks but that was my intention. I have witnessed employees pulling full pallet jacks in front of shoppers and just leaving them right in front of the merchandise the person was attempting to add to their cart. Staff holding personal conversations in front of shelves they are stocking slowing the stocking process and blocking shoppers access to products. If it wasnt a 10 minute drive to Big Y, I would do all my shopping even short trips for a few items there.

The florist made our wedding flowers far beyond our expectations. Even our guests couldnt believe that we got them at Stop and Shop. The staff here is always helpful, and the few times I had a problem they fixed it right away.
