I have known about Aldi for years because my wife is German and Aldi is a German company. Aldi started really starting to pop up in the U.S. close to ten years ago. The whole shopping experience is much different than shopping in a large big name grocery store. The first thing you will notice if you are new to Aldi is the shopping carts. You will never see shopping carts scattered around the parking lot, nor will you see an employee gathering and pushing carts around. This is because you must put a 25 cent deposit into the shopping cart in order to use one. This also means that you need to bring the cart back in order to get your quarter. The next thing you will notice is that mostly every product in the store is a generic item, made by Aldi. Dont let that turn you off. Aldi has amazing quality products and they also offer a double money back guarantee. This means is your are dissatisfied you will get your money back and a free replacement of that item. Aldi doesnt offer an enormous variety but they do have excellent prices on all of your staple items (milk, eggs, bread, produce, meats...). Aldi had recently been rated on of the healthiest grocery stores in the country as well. They voluntarily removed fillers, high fructose corn syrup, dyes and preservatives from most of their products. You can also buy organic and specialty items from Aldi now. When you bring your selection to the register you will see an employee sitting down to scan your items. This is because Aldi treats their employees very well. Employees at Aldi are paid fairly and are encouraged to grow with the company. There are a lot of great choices which keep me coming back. Aldi is my first choice when Im getting groceries. The best part of the entire experience is how inexpensive your bill is. You can literally fill your cart and pay what it would cost to fill one of those little baskets at another store.

Aldi has excellent prices on Tilapia and Salmon, packaged fresh and supposedly not frozen. They’re available in smaller 1-lb heavyweight vacuum sealed packages, seasoned or unseasoned. The Salmon is also available in larger 3<>5-lb packages, mostly unseasoned. The Tilapia runs about $5/lb and the Salmon about $8/lb which I find to be $1-$2 less/lb that other Supermarkets. It is truly delicious and terrific if you’re on a low carb or most any other type of diet. It also grills up nicely with a little olive oil marinade or a with a cost of plain old mayo or ranch dressing. The oil/mayo seals the fish so it doesn’t dry out on the grill. Here’s a great tip concerning the skin on the salmon; toss it on the BBQ grill skin side down for about 4-minutes, remove from the grill and the skin peels right off with ease! Marinade the freshly exposed salmon and toss it back on the grill to complete the grilling process and enjoy!

Too many rules!!, at this place!!..I just want to buy my groceries!...not treated like cattle!!.....buy a shopping cart! Then leave your cart at the register!, then you have to buy your shopping bags!, then after you pay!, you have to move aside to take everything out of your cart and put it in your bags!!.. Too much work! and to aggravating!!..not to mention 99% of the products they sell are generic, high fat!, high calorie knock offs of brand name items. I found nothing of quality nutrition for health conscious people, like myself. Id rather spend a little extra and buy higher quality, more nutritious food else where...

I spend almost half of what I would in the big box super market and so can you. At Aldis it doesnt matter if your rich or a person of modest means, anyone can shop like kings/Queens. The store is my favorite size, I can get in & out in a short period of time. Aldis Brands are name brands, without the label to save you money. I dont eat much processed food. I buy plenty of fresh healthy food at Aldis for a great price. I go there every week.

Inexpensive, good quality food. Its really hard to tell their name brand products against the national brands. Store is small but easy to get in and out of. Checkout can sometimes take a while but its not horrible. Bring your own bags because they dont supply them or you can buy reusable ones there. Youll also need a quarter to rent a shopping cart but you get it back when you return your cart.

I like shopping at Aldis they carry a great selection of grocery items at great low prices without the congestion of the big chain stores. Also the store is well lit and the layout makes shopping a breeze, and their weekly flyer carries a variety of items for the whole family. Yes Aldis grocery stores certainly have my vote!

The prices are cheap 5$ for a large cheese pizza :D Im happy. Sure their food may not be the healthiest or name brand but common what do you expect when you pay half the price. If organic is whats your looking for then go to whole foods. However if you want affordable aldis is where its at :)

Nice little grocery story. I would say if you were in the area or lived in the area it would be nice to shop there but I have only been a couple of time to pick up a few items. Otherwise it OK

I love this store.. I drive an extra 20 minutes just to shop at Aldis. The money I save on groceries is worth the little extra gas it takes to get there.

Great inexpensive option. Produce deals differ by the week but always have something on sale. Great if you have kids who will eat it quickly.
