Ill tell you one grocery store that I wont be going to anymore, Price Chopper. The Shelburne Road location to be exact. This morning, July 1, I was in the coffee bar have a cup of French Roast and a couple of jelly donuts. A couple with their shopping cart comes up and I notice a little white dog in the baby seat. Firs the man goes into the bathroom and then when he came out the woman went in to the bathroom. All the while they are playing with their little dog. There is nothing wrong with dogs per se but they dont belong in a food store nor do they belong where people are eating in an in-store restaurant. I located a store manager and told him of the offending mooch and made sure to tell him it was not a service animal. Well the manager, a skinny guy with reddish hair and a beard, said he was aware of it and that they didnt enforce the rules. The manager then went out for a smoke. Well Im one guy that thinks hygiene and food safety are important elements to culinary experience. I would advise grocery shoppers not to eat in the Price Chopper coffee bar and avoid it entirely if you value avoiding food borne illnesses.

Rude! The customer service clerk straight up refused to help me with a refund for being over charged at the register. A very quick conversation with the manager and he said they would take care of it no problem. Then another clerk helping with the refund began arguing with me about it instead of just doing what the manager told her. The prices are actually higher than Shaws and I think that is a nicer store with better products. On my $46 order I was over charged almost $15. It seemed like they are in the business of secretly increasing the price between the shelf and the register. I despise that practice some grocery stores are guilty of.

3 stars because the selection is broad and the pricing is fair. Echoing the sentiments of others, the layout and categorization of the items this store sells has no rhyme nor reason whatsoever. Also, between midnight and 7am there are no manned registers available, thus forcing you the consumer to do the job of the cashier and bagger yourself. Tell them you despise and object to self scan checkout does you no good either. The woman supervising the self service checkout definitely seems like shed rather be elsewhere. They do indeed have a nice beverage section with a broad selection.

I know it may seem odd to give a rather everyday grocery store five stars, but among everyday grocery stores, this one is by far the best. Easy parking and access, huge selection, and always open. And the in-store deli is actually quite good, though the cold cut sandwiches far outshine any of the prepared foods at the deli counter. They also have fresh made pizza and fried chicken. Ive never tried them, but they certainly look tasty. One stop shopping for family groceries and an after hours binge run!

I love my job here everyone is nice and I get along with all the customers and my managers to.. It can be a hard job ,but once you get it your on your way. If anyones interested in working with me on the deli or anything else please join us... Ditched this store for good 5 months ago, taking my avg. $250/week expenditure with me. I miss all the dept managers/staff as well as the massive product selection. What I dont miss is the chronic rudeness and chaos of the front end, no matter what hour and what day I chose to shop. Big store renovations coming - lipstick on a pig as far as I am concerned.

Large for a price chopper. Aisles are organized a bit weird compared to other price choppers- theres a special section for alcohol, snacks, and soft drinks. They have a nice produce section and a sandwich center.

This is the best grocery store Ive been to in a long time. Everyone was helpful and went out of their way to say hello and help. Moving from NY the negative comments on this page dont know they have it good. :)

Rewards gimmick card, fat manager got mad at me because I was videotaping their brand new self check out at the time but yet piggy man let the local media, videotape? ?? I dont like hypocrisy!

Great prices, good staff. Fresh produce and meat, expert butchers. The whole store feels very slightly out dated but the lower prices more than make up for it.

It was a decent grocery store. Our cashier was great. Although over at the self checkout that lady didnt seem to want to be there at all.

Were good shop. I like it especially for it sales. One of the best is on bagels. Can you imagine 6 eagles only for 1$. Pretty good.
