I just recently moved here from texas so Im getting used to the different selections The bakery is pretty awesome...and i think its pretty cool they have all the fixings to make your own pizzas. You get gold coins for spending so much money when you have a membership...and more coins when you sign up for the baby club and buy baby items. Ive heard these coins are useful during thanksgiving time. I do think the bell ringing is really annoying Haha This is the only store I go to regularly for our families needs

This is the third time going to the sandwich department and all 3 employees look at u standing there and no one comes over to take your order. I even asked if there was anyone here to help. No answer. This is the worst Big Y I have ever been in.i will tell you I would like a job here its the only place I know that you can stand around and do nothing and get paid for it.

This was the first Big Y to the area, and it was pretty good, then. Its not horrible now, but when you compare it to the Shelton, CT location...this one definitely shows its age. Although its products are always fresh!! The staff is always friendly and ready to help. Maybe theyll update this one without raising their prices....whats the chances on that???

I love my neighborhood Big Y in Ansonia, CT! It is conveniently right down the street from me. Even though I also have Stop and Shop, Shop Rite, Aldi, and more available to me close by, Big Y is my go-to supermarket when I want to shop! Friendly service, great produce, and competitive sales! :)

The fish fry program affects the regular customers that just want to buy some uncooked fish. The employees are made to cook and take orders from the fish and chips crowd while we stand in line forever. Management should at least place two employees at that dept. Otherwise is a nice store.

SOOOOO EXPENSIVE i will never come back here again! There was cereal for 4.99 at Big Y and Aldis has it for 2.69. From Dairy to Vegetables/ Fruits its BEYOND EXPENSIVE. If you dont believe me go there and find out for yourself and then write your review. I refuse to go there again

Best in the area - friendly staff, clean, and way cheaper than stop & shop. Also has an in-store seating area for when youre starving and need a slice of pizza before shopping.
