Great deli sandwiches and a great price, but dont expect great service. I almost walked out waiting for someone to acknowledge me at the counter. They were too busy chatting with each other on the other side. Got a sandwich and a drink for $6.15, gave him $10.15. His reply, "oh Im sorry. I already rang in $10." He had no clue how to make change, returned my 15 cents and gave me $3.85 change. Just makes me wonder: What other things dont happen behind the counter because a machine didnt tell them to do it? Its a shame. Not my first visit here and not the first experience of this type. They really need a better class of employee working with customers at their world class market. The sandwich was very tasty.

My Big Y where shopping, usually tedious, is fun. Employees are kind and friendly and go out of their way to help in anyway they can. Aisles are always stocked and if you cant find something even a Manager might help you out. I think Avon lucked out with the best employees in each Department and definitely has the best Store Manager and Night Manager. One can only hope nothing ever changes. Mark and Nick make this store great and to be honest make customers feel like family. Im one happy customer and am certain the greater majority would agree with me! Definitely a five star store! I especially enjoy shopping at big Y. Its a big market with a small market feel. They have great meat and seafood departments, with an amazing selection of fresh fish, shellfish and custom cuts of meat. The butchers recommend cuts and offer cooking tips and they are always running specials. They also have the nicest local produce around. Big Y always carries a wide variety of seasonal/ holiday specialties. The employees are very helpful and make customers feel like they matter.

This is a great store with a greatly improved deli featuring higher quality selections. The silver card is a great buy to get discounts on many things and is free for seniors! Good bakery and huge selection of all items. Convenient parking and plenty of staff.

Excellent supermarket. Butcher shop, seafood counter and well-stocked deli. Pizza shop (pizzas are very good). Always has great array of fresh vegetables and fruits, with an emphasis on locally grown. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Everything is more expensive than other supermarkets. I talked with an employee, and they said thats cause the have better service. However most of the cashiers are under 18 and cant provide much knowledgeable service.

We have shopped at this store for 30 years now (was Finast) and find it an excellent value, clean, and sales are plentiful and clearly marked. Get a ticket for the deli and circle back, it can be slow.

Great Place To Buy Natures Own Bread And Wonder White Bread as Well. They Also Have the Best ORGANIC BREAD IN THE UNIVERSE...ITS CALLED . DAVES KILLER BREAD!!!! I LOVE IT!!! YOU GUYS SHOULD TRY IT!!!!

The store itself is fine. Unfortunately when you spend $30 on a cake to be made for a birthday you expect it to look half way decent. At least you could read what was written on the cake.

Friendliest/most helpful staff of all grocery stores. Not a huge fan of the layout but the produce is always high quality. Sales can be misleading but no worse than other stores.
